Well said! My sentiments exactly.

I found it difficult to figure out if this thread is serious or not, mainly due to all those self-invented nicknames. And honestly don't see a reason for nicknaming riders with easy spelled/short last names.

I used an order of elimination. Gesink was mostly missing in the ones I saw, so I figured it would be him. There was another post. From what I saw, the marshmallow man could be riding around in France lead around by the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I'd pay to see that.:D

1 Contador
2 Gesink
3 Evans
4 Van den Broeck
5 S. Sanchez
6 Basso
7 Mollema
8 Wiggins
9 Danielson
10 F.Schleck

LeoTard to totally fail and Fränk saving the day with a long breakaway on Alpe d'Huez which prompts him into the top 10.
Andy disappearing after first losing 20 minutes in the echelons (Rabobank started riding when he was taking a leak). And then dropping his chain on the first mountain of the Luz Ardiden stage, where again Rabobank starts riding. Andy choses to ride straight into the bar and drink his sorrows away.
Rest of Leotard is lost and Fränk proves he is a only an average climber most of the days.

I was sure I had posted a prediction last year at some point, but I'll be blown if I can find it now.

Grabsch will have to cheat too - he's not riding (surprised me too). Bak and Pate seem to be suitable alternative picks.

for the record i like the silly nicknames. its the only thing that makes reading pages and pages of predictions fun after a while

edit: ps i do like reading your predictions ladies and gentlemen so keep em coming if you please. the tour is far from my favorite race until it gets to be this time of year and then suddenly i go bananas
