Oldbiker, I think the Good Doctor Maserati just took your temperature.

RECTALLY.

"But as you like facts -
Livestrong made a $1.5 million donation to the Indiana University Cancer Center where the incident took place and gave $500,000 to the OHSU Cancer Institute where Dr. Nichols worked.
All within a few months of the SCA case."

Boo-yah.

When Doctors deny that such conversation took place.
.

Dr. Nichols has said that he did not hear the conversation.......this should be no surprise as Nichols was not Armstrong's Doctor at the time. It is funny how Armstrong's professional liars conveniently forget this fact again and again.....wonder why?

What is Nichols up to these days? He seems to have had trouble keeping a job over the last few years......Wonder why?

As for Armstrong's medical records. The complete medical records were never produced. For some reason portions were missing.....Wonder why?

Have you seen the 600 pages? No, me neither.

To your point that it may have been part of his "medical treatment" - well Lance said in his testimony that no Doctors questioned him at all in their presence:

When the Andreus were shown a photo of Dr. Craig Nichols they said he was not one of the Doctors that asked the question - so Nichols is correct in saying that he does not remember this incident.

But as you like facts -
Livestrong made a $1.5 million donation to the Indiana University Cancer Center where the incident took place and gave $500,000 to the OHSU Cancer Institute where Dr. Nichols worked.

Wow, why does this not even surprise me . . . the STINK coming of this steaming turd just becomes more surreal with each new morsel of new information, GREAT JOB!

Over the years , we've learned some pertinent words... expunged, redacted, shredded, clarified, corrected, optimized... i.e. de-enhanced.

I can't imagine Lance's doctors giving up any medical info or conversations..Of course they are going to say something like "I don't recall" and not "I heard but cannot say" etc.

A quick search finds him sitting on the BOD of LAF.org; not sure what he does the rest of the time, but it looks like he is no longer at Indiana University?

He left Indiana. Went to Oregon for a while, but did not have his contract renewed....Wonder why?

Good thing he will always have that paid board member position at LAF.

Additional Google searching for the good doctor had him at OHSU

and then at the Oregon Clinic.

But he does not appear to be affiliated with either anymore?

So RR's comment about Dr. N having issues with holding a job recently is certainly interesting to say the least.

I wonder how much JN floats The Clinic for information, because I am floored by what one can learn coming here!

lack of... integrity?

...wonder not... the clinic mainlines truth. with evidence. & ...ok, a little educated supposition.

That'll be an interesting booth. Heck, I'd like to go and just set up a lawn chair next to the booth just to eavesdrop.

This reminds me of SwiftSolo over on RBR. He said the hospital room was bull because according to him and his version, the Andreus were in another room visiting someone else and heard the conversation with the doctor and Lance though the walls. This, he felt was not credible, thus the whole story was rubbish. I think it's this kind of ignorance which gets me so angry with the fan boys. Almost invariably, their lack of knowledge, yet their confidence in what they think they know, is amazing.

It's endemic in the U.S. At least there's a lot of cross pollination between fan boys and tea baggers.

Since Greg no longer has a bike company, and Frankie isn't affiliated with a team anymore, what is role/sponsor of the booth? Just curious, not criticizing.

Forgot to ask as my bud ususally is affiliated with parts wholesalers from our region. I'll check because you are correct that neither guy would relate to his customary show displays.

Buck, we are on the same side on this issue and it never occured to bring politics into it. I don't view Fanboy's as left or right, but wrong.

Maybe we all can discuss this in a non-political way? Just askin'.

There is criticism of the "reality based" media out there and it was advanced by a very large prominent group of people in the US.

I'm all for facts as being facts but, this kind of thinking is catching on despite all evidence that would completely undermine it.

I think it's this kind of ignorance which gets me so angry with the fan boys. Almost invariably, their lack of knowledge, yet their confidence in what they think they know, is amazing.

This is the quote I was referring to. I don't know if there is any other explanation to the support Armstrong is receiving, other than the fact that it is now popular in the U.S. for people to create their own reality despite all evidence to the contrary.

I'm sorry (genuinely) if this bothers you, but I can't compartmentalize my thinking at all.

What's gotten to be really offensive, besides LA's fraud, is the unquestioning loyalty and apologies made for Armstrong, despite all evidence that he's a horrendous human.

Lets keep the politics out of this thread, okay?

Fair enough. I agree with nearly all of this but, I'm not sure the political comparison is relevant.

My skin is pretty thick, so make whatever comparisons you wish. My only point is it seems to diminish your argument by bringing a political component to a non-political issue.
