While Katusha continues to be ridiculous let's not forget Sky, who's domestiques are better or equal with other major teams leaders.

If Poels could have sticked with Quintana in Tirreno the humiliation would be total.

Back to Katusha, who the **** is Zakarin ? the next Froome i guess but usually russians are stupid and get caught pretty easy.

His biggest result thus far is 1st overall in the Tour de Azerbaijan.

Where did this Zakarin guy come from? Already banned once I hope they catch him quickly.

When you test positive at age 19 for steroids, as he did, it seems pretty safe to say that you are a committed doper.

so i guess he tries to be a sprinter? get busted for roids, now he tries to be a climber, maybe he thinks it's easier with EPO?

8 Katusha wins in 9 days...

they should follow Astana but Makarov is to well anchored i guess.

Katusha have they discovered a new drug and/or preparation method or are they just taking more risks? Is the team going to fold next year?

Exactly, there are other threads for that and it's not a question of who is clean it's a question of how dirty.

the more i read of you the more i have the feeling you are a comment section troll paid by Murdoch's rival media

no matter the thread or the topic you post same things about Sky. 30,000 posts threads aren't enough?

why don't you stay on the *** topic for once?

I think once the line is crossed then you ain't clean. How Dirty? maybe that amounts to how much time and money you invest in being dirty but they are all dirty in the normal "riders don't dope" cycling fans eyes.

I should mention that I was talking about teams. I do believe there are riders who are clean.

Only Astana. Katusha is as clean as Sky and any other team in WT.

I was curious in the racing section, there was an sidebar comment about something aged 19, and I was wondering. Thanks for specifying what he was busted for.

It's a telling sign that there isn't a single post in this thread that defends Katusha like the Sky thread or any other thread for that matter. Is there nobody out there to defend Katusha and their Anti-Doping record? Is it just a forgone conclusion that people believe the Katusha team is systematically doping?

It's sickening to see Katusha win race after race. IMO it's no coincidence that they got this run of results, considering the position this team is in financially. Kristoff may have won cleanly through talent and training, but noway has Purito and Paolini done it without preparing like it was back in the day.

So Kristoff is talented and hard worker, and Purito is a doper. is that what you're trying to say? They are two main riders in the team, one is doped and won two races that suits him down to the ground, in non-dominant fashion, the races he was always good at. And the other won basically every race he entered this year, showed such dominance that was not seen in a while, yet he is clean. Unbelieveable!

Systematically doping? I guess that depends on what one means with that. I certainly do think that they facilitate doping for their riders.

I think most skyfans would have to admit katusha are clean since performance doesn't prove doping and employing doping doctors is meaningless too.

but other than that I think the reason why no one is defending them is because the forum doesn't have any russian posters.

I can't wait for the 1st WT stage race with GC 1-2-3 from same team.

1. Zakarin (the ITT specialist)
2. Spilak (the bad weather specialist)
3. Purito (the granny the climbs like god)

They are all altitude natives with naturally high hematocrit.

No, it's not a forgone conclusion, but, what was recently revealed suggests things are about equal with other nations permitting doping. Plus, what's known about Makarov's widespread influence at the UCI suggests no one is testing positive anytime soon.

How many posting here are fluent in cyrillic writing/related language to inform us? Language and even Russia vs. West propaganda bias is a big barrier.

The xenophobia is not a good look. You can argue whether Zakarin is less suspicious than someone like Yates who is now good enough to ride away from Rodriguez and Henao.
