I don't think there is team doping going on. But I really don't feel like spending long hours arguing about it.

As for Purito. If he were a doper, why didn't he take just a little more dope and win a grand tour? He's been so close so many times.
Just by taking more dope you just don't win GT's. You need other things as well. You require skills for TT for example. The killing instinct as well. And there is the bio passport. It is still a requirement for some teams and riders to be under the radar.

Having said that, I am afraid Katusha has stepped the program or whatever they have a notch for 2015. Too good to be truth. It is just too much coincidence.

What?

Please tell me this post is a joke and that it's not actually possible for someone to make an argument so devoid of logic.

To be fair as regards Rodriguez and his recent illness, it was reported as a stomach virus, which makes you completely weak and unusable instantly, therefore there would not be any way to start Catalunya. But once over, and it can be over fairly quickly, one should not be that much affected.

Cookson probably wouldn't have won the presidency without Makarov. Massive financial injections, the backstage lobbying against Pat, etc.
Not surprising to see Katusha having a good time under Cookson's watch.

I agree, an absolute shocker that TT yesterday. A rider who is building up for the Ardennes should not be in top shape this time of the season...

Purito has always been cleans.

I'm more shocked that Beñat doesn't dismember Purito against the clock, since he's reasonable. Quite a few where he wouldn't have been trying there though, and what the hell is that 2013 Vuelta TTT result for Movistar?!

Seems like a CQ ranking shorthand for getting dropped by the team

I know, something interesting though is that his results have continued to improve after the introduction of the passport. Could mean something, and it could mean nothing.

As for stepped up program. If there is a team program which I doubt, it is too early to tell one way or the other whether it has been stepped up.

The logic is fine. The argument is simplistic. I was joking with a touch of truth. With all the close calls he has had it's curious that he can never quite get there. It could mean something or it could mean nothing.

Purito's results didn't just improve after the introduction of the BP. They improved dramatically after signing with Katusha, even though he was 31 at the time and had been given total freedom in many races for many years.

I wonder will Purito finally win a grand tour this year. I don't think he'll we wish to retire without one. Not that he is going to retire this year.

Saying "if he doped, why didn't he dope a little more" is basically like saying "if the rider is fast, why didn't he ride a little faster"

Awful logic.

Most stupid thread of the year! Don't know anything, suspect everything, throw your suspicions out there. Hope that anyone bites.

Henao is cleans though right?

the more i read of you the more i have the feeling you are a comment section troll paid by Murdoch's rival media

no matter the thread or the topic you post same things about Sky. 30,000 posts threads aren't enough?

why don't you stay on the **** topic for once?

Did you not just inject Sky's domestiques performances into the discussion a few posts before the above lambasting of the sceptic? As the OP you have rights that others don't?

in a thread about Katusha i post 70% about Katusha and 30% about other teams/riders for comparison

there are some people that have all their posts, in every thread, no matter the topic, twisted in such way to talk about their unique agenda.

this people are very annoying
