Tarling could become the classics Basso... acceleration 10, power 95
After the day they've had, VLAB deserve something, because the next 2 weeks will see them riding for 2nd, like everyone else.Anyone but VLAB
Küng is perhaps the perfect opponent to have in these races.
that's too funnyKüng is perhaps the perfect opponent to have in these races.
At least the losers won't be caught by the peloton this year.carbon copy of last year
Team tactics on display. Benoot drew out a red line chase by dries. Jorgensen rode away a bit later when all were on their limit
Looked like Kung blocked anyone from following the attack too. But none the less. Jorgensen clearly the strongest of that selection.Küng made a mistake though. He dragged Jorgenson back twice just before he attacked. It seems obvious to me that Jorgenson was the strongest in the group.
Sorta...he will be in the mix on Sunday, but he does not have the explosiveness to stay with Mathieu when he goes...which is true of everyone else as well. Even if some miracle allows WvA to ride, that road rash, and the time he will take to recover, means he has virtually no chance for RVV or PR.Guess Jorgenson sorta saved Visma's day.
Was in the big crash.Norsgaard survived, but Pedersen didn't? Someone blew up.
Impressive effort though. Kept fighting. His head was a bit stronger than the legs today.A shame Tarling never had or took the chance to give it a shot.
I think Paris-Roubaix is still a step too far for now, he seems to really struggle with keeping up with accelerations and eventually all that solo time pays. Incredible engine though, one of the biggest in the current peloton – possibly even bigger than Ganna's.A shame Tarling never had or took the chance to give it a shot.
