I love DDV, this is just wetting the appetite for RVV, Roubaix etc.

I'm going to back a Garmin rider to win this, they'll need it as a massive confidence booster for the team, what with the big signings that they made in the off season.

Im going for greg van avermaet looks like he is in great form. He can just hang in there until the end and sprint to victory.

From checking the climb positions etc it appears to be identical to last year.

and yes, there will be live coverage via sporza BUT this is one of the races owned by Flanders Classics. We expect the streams to be shut down left right and centre by the BAF, and in all likelehood there will be no youtube highlights. Worth having sopcast and streamtorrent installed in advance. might be the most stable feeds.

zzz I wish they would show all the races on eurosport Im just too lazy to watch all thos live streamings

Eeckhout always used to be good in this race (8 times top 6 in the last 10 years), I'd like to see him on the podium again in his last year as a pro. And it's not that unrealistic I think, he indicated quite a good form the last weeks.

I'm going for a slightly left field pick, Steve Chianel.

4th last year, and showed some great legs at the weekend.

I think Garvelo are going to be dissapointed. Again.

Someone please change the thread title... it's Dwars door Vlaanderen, not Dwaars. Meaning something like "Straight through Flanders".

Or change it into "Waregem".

Also perhaps a bit leftfield, I'll go for Matt Hayman. Fifth last year, obviously going well at OHN and KBK and in a smaller race maybe Sky might let him off the leash for a change. :)

Nice race. I'm going to say FDJ might put something together in the finale. I think they had 3 in the top 16 at M-SR and worked very well as a team.

My dark horse pick is Dominque Rollin. (Canadian bias).
