live broadcast on sporza?

Sporza and the usual others, rtbf etc.

We are expecting the streams to be interrupted today, the race is owned by the same group that had multiple omloop feeds closed down, and the omloop highlights removed from the net. We are expecting the same.

Most stable option for viewing will be Danish Delight on streamtorrent which last time escaped the wrath of the anti piracy federation.

full details http://www.teamskyfans.com/live.html

other option is subsription to cycling.tv

For KBK there was also a stream on justinTV from a french broadcast or at least french commentators that didn't get taken down.

the reliable options will be streamtorrent (free) or cyclingtv (Subscription)

The rest could be great and uninterrupted, could be lousy. We dont know. These belgian anti piracy lot were a suprise to all of us. First anyone knew was when wcc got hit with a copyright claim.

I still don't know: can you watch the sporza stream (on sporza.be) outside of Belgium? Or is it geo-restricted?

Sporza, NOS, etc are all geo restricted. RTBF is usually geo restricted.

you could of course get around that restriction by using a Belgian proxy...

proxies work fine with NOS, less so with sporza. The format sporza use for streaming is a bit bandwidth intensive and not many proxy servers can handle it. They also seem better at sniffing out proxy servers than NOS are.

15 degrees, no wind. Far too pleasant a day for a classic.

Smashing, isn't it? Went out to the park for lunch with a few colleagues here in Bruxelles. Had myself a tomato-banana soup and watched the little green parakeets in the trees. Looking forward to following the live ticker now though. Come on, Matt Hayman! :)

Strangely, the are sometimes not restricted midweek. For example, he GP Samyn was fta.
I miss their satellite channel. Was great and ad free.

Rai Sport 2 also showing this race live. Same times as Sporza.:)
Oooof, talking of whichhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............:D
