So tomorrow we have the first of the cobbled classics, curious how the strengths between the teams will work out.

Lotto will have to show its possibilities but they're sending more or less a B-Team.

Apparently Cancellara is first reserve at Leopard Trek, Devolder is starting.

Boonen does not ride as Peeters announced after MSR.

Here's the official website of the race :

Almost all teams are sending their b-squads which means that there will be a happy domestique after the race. I think Chavanel will win.

Chavanel i think will win if he is recovered from M-SR. If not someone from OPQS, most likely.

Kreder is my dark horse, Rojas and Von Hoff for a sprint.

* Thomas and Swift both listed on the CN starting list but not on the Team Sky website. Mistake or pulled out injured? Thomas hit the ground pretty hard sunday.

He is on the official website. Cycling News preview also states he's expected to lead Sky.

hmm strange he was on it before (on the SKY site), he still is on it on a lot of other sites, and on the sky site they only name 6 guys now.

Did he finish on Sunday? He was down for a while and never saw him again after that.

He indeed DNF, but he stood up pretty fast after the crash, but his bike wasnt okay. I dont think he is injured, as his tweets indicate he was just annoyed by crashing and dont mention anything about a possible injury.

Disappointing start list for a race that became 1.HC.

No Cavendish, Boonen, Pozzato, Cancellara, Gilbert, Goss, Hagen, Degenkolb, Roelandts, Van Avermaet, Langeveld and Boom.

Could make the race less controlled. Wouldn't mind a new face on the first podium step.

Looking forward to it.

forget the classification, Dwars has always been the poor relation in the week after San Remo and before Harelbeke and Gent Wevelgem. Still, it's normally a decent race.

Indeed, but the fact that there is now the E3 prijs/Gent Wevelgem pro tour combination in the weekend comes also into play. Until a few years ago you had only E3 prijs in the weekend plus Brabantse Pijl which was mainly raced by the hilly riders.

A good point about E3 being WT, certainly. I suppose you've also got the hangover from San Remo for the guys that rode there.
