You gotta love Benoot. That kid is a pure gem!
Don't discard Laporte in case of a grouped finish

The Steppers are chasing the duo. Small group of 11-12 riders? Then another group of 10 rider following them.

Not sure why you guys act surprised. He already did well in this race in 2014. It's just a semi-classic with small hills in it, the cobbled sections don't make that much of a difference in this race.

You guys sure love to over-hype anything he does lol.

And he will always have his past against him, so I don't see why everyone cheers him on. Sport will continue to rot if we do.

You sure like to criticise everything he does. :)
If Valverde went from the gun at Roubaix and held on, Pisti would still find a way to devalue the performance.

Benoot a bit unlucky here. Normally after a move like that there is enough hesitation behind to get a 30+ sec gap. But today the chasers (Quickstep) responded almost immediately.

Who is the fastest man if it comes down to a sprint between the final.. 12?

John D? Maybe GVA can outsprint him after a hard race.

Reminds me of Froome's Tour-Vuelta double.

Yeah, plus both don't have teammates to annoy the others.

Stop chasing, Lotto-Jumbo..

Hopefully Groenewegen is not there.
He isn't, it's van Poppel.

French TV keeps telling they are pulling Groenewegen back but I don't recognize him. So DVP it is!

@Rollthedice: GVA is in the front group
They were riding for DVP, but he didn't make it lol. Roosen is their guy.
Are you sure? It looks like DVP to me.

Why only Benoot?

Certainly, it looks like GVA is working more

Well Benoot made the move and was on the front the whole time to establish the initial gap.
