lol, you think riders showing their hands early and later still dominating s rare in these races. have you ever watched this sort of classic?

No I think those are the riders who feel they are the most confident to do something and therefore are ready to counter anything.
Of course it may not be but i think that in this case with how the dynamics are shaping up with Canc before the classics anyone who really believed in their chances would try and go when that group went.
Maybe I am wrong, as I said well see...

No not at all. But your theory is simply stupid considering the history of these races have always shown the same. The guys who split it up even at 60k usually keep dominating the race
