No not at all. But your theory is simply stupid considering the history of these races have always shown the same. The guys who split it up even at 60k usually keep dominating the race

I know about Boonen and Cancellara splitting the race early on, but why can't I critic it? I don't think it's the best strategy for Boonen considering his relative strength and weaknesses compared to Cancellara. That Cancellara goes early is makes perfectly sense but not Boonen when Cancellara is in the race.

iof they wait longer you get a mass sprint. You have to make these races hard to have a chance of a small group sprint

in a bigger group boonen has no chance against sagan and freire
