Lol, Eisel sprinting for himself instead of helping Edvald. Sky logic.

Where exactly was EBH? Eisel finished 3rd, that seems to me to be a pretty good vindication of the tactics.

Are you all blind? EBH was in the group, but started his sprint in 50. position or so. He still ended up around 10th-15th.

Eisel and EBH were clearly not interested in helping each other.

Boonen over Freire, I would have been happy either way between that pair, great race by OPQS and can't wait for Fabs reply!

Cancellara's misfortune decided the race.

Lol...the race wasn't hard, are you kidding me. Look at the previous editions, that's hard racing. Today was soft.

And how on earth do you know which of the two was feeling better at that point in the race? How do you know EBH wasn't supposed to be helping the stronger man at that point?

IMO EBH had a problem with his groin during the race. Looked uncomfortable grabbing it earlier on.

Eisel not doing anything???

who's been in the front the last 8-9km?
Eisel' been always in the front, clearly setting it up for EBH - or at least trying to

If it wasn't race hard we would have had a 80 man group sprint like when de jongh won

Tom wins a close one.

Specialized will claim the brilliant aero Mclaren tech wonder saved the watts needed

I think I see him now - barely sprinting on the far right of the picture. But the guy who got himself into position to come third should definitely have been working for him, no question. Laughable.

Just a random observation but Boonen was the one that in fact instigated and attacked when that group was formed 60km....
Once again just an observation;)

I don't, but since both were sprinting on opposite sides of the road that's what I assume. But yeah, Edvald definitely didn't look too good.
