So, since 2020 - when there was no race - Asgreen has won once, WVA has won twice in a row, and now MVDP has won thrice in a row.
Next year, a new guy will win, and he'll go on to win four times in a row.

Please, do not quote me on this!
Unless you do it in 2030, after my prediction has come true.

I have quoted it just in case.

I’m glad I went out with 30km to go and missed that finish. Hagenes was f****** around even when the break formed so glad he lost. Neutral on Abrahamsen and Vermeersch but at least DeWulf tried to hold onto VdP. He would have been a fair winner.

I don't think that it has really sunk in how embarrassing that looked.. Alberto Contador or his equivalent announcer, gasped and laughed out loud at the chase as MvdP just kept chugging along... And when Florian actually started his sprint it was half hearted at best..
So did the Italian Riccardo Magrini, who further basically said it serves you guys right and that he was happy they got screwed.

Couldn't disagree more. It's very rare you see an MVDP solo get chased down. A shame they didn't catch him earlier and they probably would if Dewulf had chipped in. Can't blame them for messing about in the final few hundred metres with a podium at stake.
Ah yes, the glory of second

Watch the finale of this race, then watch the finale of MSR again. Pog is going to win Flanders, and, barring some sort of disaster, he's going to win Roubaix too. This Mathieu is not a match for Tadej, period.

At least today when Van der Poel crashed he kept his kit clean and in order..
Oh that's right it was Prince Pogacar who went brain dead, crossed wheels and went down like a ton of bricks. Not sure were Tadej is getting all this off road cred but it you are riding on rocks and dirty nasty roads I am going with Nederland CX expert. Pogacar has been sprawling all over the pavement in ideal conditions
, a rainy Roubaix will have him laying next to a milk cow along the route..

Totally disagree. He always speaks his mind and doesn't follow a script, a real Toscano. The kind of guy you'd like to sit down in a trattoria with talking cycling and drinking red wine. You want provincial, burino? Well then Gigi Sgarbozza is your guy, although I always had a soft spot for him who was ciociaro, having raced several times in the Ciociaria. Mind you, I also like Francesco Pancani and Stefano Garzelli on Rai TV, but Magrini's Ooooolalaalalas! generate excitement and enthusiasm. Very good at explaining a race were Cassani and Martinelli. But, of course, the legendary one was Adriano De Zan. And I sorely miss Gianni Mura's daily column on the Tour.

One thing we forgot to talk about.

It's Abrahamsen, the Uno-X rider, who first started *** around and is the main culprit. Once again showing that Uno-X are cycling terrorists of foulest kind that literally don't even want to win and instead the only purpose for their existence is aim to go down below and reach the 2nd circle of hell.

Who do you dislike the most, Uno-X or Pogacar?

I should most surely have qualified my post with "a Roubaix as we've seen in recent years', in that much you are correct. I've been watching PR since 1984 and know what the race is about. All things being equal, if it comes down to a pure contest of strength this year, Mathieu is dead meat imho, even on the Carrefour. I don't know where you get this Prince Pogacar thing, he's far from my favorite rider, it's just reality before my eyes, that's all. As to the bolded, Pog was one muffed corner away from going to the velodrome with Mathieu last year in his first attempt at the race; seems he acquitted himself just fine. As far as a rainy Roubaix goes, history has shown us no one is immune.

I do love how you can conceivably blame every rider, even people who weren't even involved like Red Bull. It could also be a case of every rider in a 4 man group doing exactly the right thing all at the same time to maximise their chances and it completely blowing up in their faces. The perfect storm of everyone stood there pointing angrily at each other, on here and on the road.

It's mostly on Abrahamsen and to a lesser extent Vermeersch.

Pancani-Martinello is the best combo. Garzelli and Cassani are nice "spalle" too. ok, il Magro is not that provincial, I exagerated. and there's a world between anyone and the Sgarbozza kind of comments, though he had his somehow rarely likeable ways.
but I really don't like Magrini's voice, ways, style. I just don't. I immediately switch language
Adriano: I came home from school in the early nineties at the end of February waiting for the first televised race, Laigueglia, and his voice.
