Their problem at Roubaix was the only way to give Flecha a chance was to also have Flecha chasing. But then that would have lowered his chances against the 9 or 10 non-workers in the group. Someone would have jumped them as soon as they made contact. Just one of those odd situations where having fewer team-mates would have been better for them.
 
Yep, I was disapointed with Sky's classics season. Expected more from them, but with the way Boonen rode, I think 'more' would be podiums rather than victories.

Still 1 win (Cav at KBK), plus a podium for Bernie and a 4th for Flecha in PR. (and 8th for Hayman)

Maybe its more a case of having too high an expectation than Sky doing es[ecially badly.

They could have used there 3 or 4 in a number of ways to bring Boonen back instead of going 1 on 1 with with him, with weaker riders. These other things would all be useful to the other guys in that group, which is why i said, probably wouldn't have won.
