Is he doing the Vuelta? Bomans doesn't really have the record of taking non-Vuelta guys...

Bjarne Riis owes Nuyens(and Nuyens owes Riis), so I would be extremely surprised if he didn't get to start. Especially because it's not good for your basic condition to not ride any GTs in a season(except if you're young of course)

Talking about sprinters. It looks like it will be cross-wind sprint tomorrow. Is it a long finishing straight? I'm thinking Tyler with Greipel and EBH in close attendance. The course is dead flat, so the only thing that might split the peloton are cross-winds and it looks like most of the time it'll either be a headwind (particularly to start) or a tailwind.

As for Nuyens, it's probably true that he was planning to be in top form for this race, but even so he seems to be high up compared to other non-TT specialists who might be concentrating on the GC in a race like this (e. g. Westra - 22nd, GvA - 49th, and the enigma Devolder), so it looks good for him.

there is a roundabout with about ~1,2km to go, leading the peloton into town on a straight, quite narrow and cobbled road to the finish.

but (just from watching the pictures) the surface seems to be quite plane, I doubt the cobblestones will make much difference

Because

1)this race is contested by top sprinters, and the classics specialists that are starting to get back into shape for Vuelta/Worlds
2)we can try to predict who will win vuelta stages and world championships based on Eneco tour form (even though that doesnt say much)

with such good form, i think he can win the TT.

I agree. He seems to have his mojo back and will do well in the ITT. He can win it in front of his biggest fan Dekker Tifosi!:p
