Funny that every win Henderson has this season, the leadout has been so awesome that his leadout-man has been 2. or 3. :p

Sky leadouts tend to fizzle out with other teams encroaching but that looked really quick, probably why they got 2 in the top 3.

Sky are learning. The plan A for the week was bonus seconds for Eddy with the time trial at the end to try and get the GC. Martin messed that up yesterday so Hendo stage wins is plan B. Nice to see they do finally go into races with a plan B instead of just a plan A

What I really don't get though is why Edvald was leading out Henderson, and not the other way around. Clearly, when Edvald was strong enough to get 3. despite being the leadout-man, he would've been strong enough to win and get more bonus seconds? I guess they've lost faith in him after yesterday, when he couldn't even pull back a breakaway single-handedly.

Except for the first stage in Paris-Nice, but that sprint was very selective with only Bole as a sprinter in that group.

Wait, what? There is a summer type biathlon? What do they do during that?

He probably felt a bit tired this morning after yesterday and bonus seconds aren't as important for the GC win anymore. So give the fresher and possibly equally fast Henderson a go.

Tomorrow's stage is more suited to Hagen, more of a classic style stage so maybe he will have another go at winning that one.

Today was dead flat and Hendo can finish them off better.

In a perfect world, EBH would lead out EBH.

As it is, Sky figured the odds of winning was better with Edvald sprinting from the front (which is really what he was doing, more than just 'leading out') with Henderson on his wheel than with Henderson or Sutton leading him out with Greipel or McEwen on his wheel.

I wasn't talking about the sprint, it was a reaction to this EBH fanboy who thinks that if EBH doesn't win, something must have gone wrong, and EBH was the strongest nonetheless.

Ok, my mistake.

Well, Henderson won, didn't he? I didn't see EBH do that so far in this Eneco Tour.

Kenny van Humbled by Sky lead out man.;)

Get over it.
You had Koos, yesterday and Sky have been going through a lean patch.

I was still recuperating from the heavy blow of Hagen winning in Roermond last year.
Now they made it even worse.

Let me suffer

Are all the Dutch posters out on course? It's very quiet here.
i went to the start.
and since it's in our city centre i decided to go shopping while i am at it. now back and watching

just saw how Hagen dropped absolutely no one on the Doode Man. Even Greipel returned quickly.
Hagen is never going to win LBL.

Amstel Gold terrain is fracturing the field nicely, and it's starting to spit a bit too. Should be a good day for those with an attacking attitude or those who are signing off at the end of the year and want to enjoy the last rides in style (I'd love to see Moerenhout try something again). The 11 up front have predictably dwindled down to the most capable 6.
