No team is willing to take the challenge to HTC.

With the two obvious challengers to HTC in a sort of initiative stalemate, I thought the only way this could become interesting if there is a lively challenge for stage victory by another team, that would create that unforeseen opportunity, or if the weather would have gone ape.

I think there are two teams very willing, but with 30k to make damn sure that whatever happened before it means diddly squat, and no-one else keen to do something on the day, it is indeed looking like a sleepy roll-up to the inevitable.

Pity. I guess we should be pleased that at least this year it might be settled by an actual ride, rather than bonuses only.

Rabobank cowards

They have 6 men there and don't want to make an echelon
They're trying to save your face, by making your prediction come true... because it probably won't.

I'm only half-watching and with no sounds so I have no idea who is in the bunch. I'm assuming Robbie isn't because I saw him get badly dropped on the Muur, and I'm assuming Gorilla will be too tired to be much of a factor.

How can you say it's boring. There has been attacks and offensive racing the entire stage. It's not like a totally flat stage where the peloton is all together the entire stage. The leaders group has even been down to 10-15 riders on some climbs.

Ok. I can tell you how the rest goes.
One of the first 4 riders wins. 90% chance it being Devolder.
Machado will go to 3rd place GC since he's close in GC.

End of

:D

They are caught right now.
You win some, you lose some

Which Sprinters are left in that big group except of Greipel ?
Ahhh echolons

Downhill sprint, so no one can defeat Greipel there I guess. Bit of an anti-climax to see Greipel win the "mountain" stage though.
