Leezer down! A couple HTC riders coming in from side bike path might have spooked him. That could have been really bad.

You have to wonder who came up with the ingenious idea of selecting Soler to ride in the worst race possible for him outside of the cobbles.

Van Staeyen could be dangerous today.

I do like the fact that they have cycle paths, real ones, and outside the city no less. In this country a cycle path is a 30 cm wide lane next to traffic in which cars park and is very rare as well.

McEwen... Very nice.

Also Van Emden totally sabotaged Eddy Hagen's chances... Eddy looked verhy strong though, but the man has much left to learn.

What the hell was Edvald thinking???
Probably thinking if he made it he could get some gap, and after following Van Emden he was already up there so why not. It didn't work, but meh, at least he tried.

1 km sprint Edvald? Bit too long maybe? Anyway, it was a nice try. And as I predicted, Team Sky once again completely screwed up in the wind. Was there a single team sky rider there at the end with Edvald?
