Ah the joys of English cycling commentating - they are answering questions from Twitter about whether Alex Dowsett can win today :p

If the UCI really wants to market cycling to the Anglo audience, get rid of Quigley, Kirby, Liggett. Use the better commentators without the deadwood.

Sir Brad didn't smoke it, apparently

Yeah, doesn't sound like he did a great time-trial. Reckon the shortness of it didn't suit him or that his form wasn't quite there?

I don't thhink it was a wiggins course really, the bits eurosport showed involved lots of getting out of the saddle and then he was a bit sheepish in that early technical section, where as sergeant and chava were flying through the corners. His form was there in Poland so that shouldn't be a problem. Also wiggins may have been slightly scuppered by having to go out early with no serious benchmarks

Verzoek aan de helikopter in #enecotour om niet op 50 m van een renner te vliegen. Wilco had nu windkracht 8 tegen!

Apparently, Keldermerckx had 'force 8' headwind because of an enthusiastic heli pilot.
