We have no chance whatsoever at beating Germany. Maybe we'll fluke a draw

If you beat the Germans it will really spice up the group of death. Even you lose like 1-0 it shouldn't be too bad coz if you thump Portugal and the Germans beat denmark, you might still go through.
Read in goal.com that there is some sort of Revolt in the Dutch camp. Not sure whether it's true, but it won't be surprising considering your past.
If it's true it doesn't bode well for you.

Plus Germany will have a simple tactic. Kick Sneijder as hard as you can because as soon as he is out there will be no more passes to our central stirker.

Our 'wingers' Afellay and Robben, will cut in and shoot themselves all the time

Netherlands (4-2-3-1): Stekelenburg; Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Willems; De Jong, Van Bommel; Robben, Sneijder, Afellay; Van Persie

Germany (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Boateng, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm; Schweinsteiger, Khedira; Muller, Ozil, Podolski; Gomez

I hope RVP will make people eat their words. One bad game and he is dismissed. I think those people have short memories and forget what he has done all season where he was the best player in the Premiership in the past season.

This is b ollocks, Gooner. He has had way more bad games for Holland than good ones. He's supposed to be the striker, yet he's all over the pitch. Unlike at L'****, the whole team doesn't play in his service. Thanks to the stupidity and pigheadedness of Van Marwijk I share the gloom and pessimism already expressed by other Dutchies here.

A spanking by the Germans will, at least, hasten Van Marwijk's departure, which can't come soon enough for fans over here.

he hasn't given the national team much except goals against small countries... i hope he can step up but i expect not

AS Amsterhammer explains, with a left-footed player at the right wing and a right-footed winger on the left wing, he doesn't get any crosses like at Arsenal and is hopelessly lost.

Here we go..

right through the middle. Defense? Why do we need one?

Van bommel didn't cover the upcoming German (something he hasn't done since he played for psv), who could then easily set up a play. He was totally out of position.

120m without a goal.

Nice. Exploiting your strengths.

Boy that was a fun half to watch!
Still waiting for Podolski to get involved in the attacking third, but he is doing a good job helping Lahm mark Robben.
