Massive win for England, I was critical of Hodgson in the first game for negative substitutions that invited Russian pressure. I was also shocked he played with the same team from the start.

I have to give him credit for the subs at half time, Vardy and Sturridge obviously changed the game and really should be starting against Slovakia on Monday. Rashford made an impact when he came on too, he looks a magnificent prospect and showed he can contribute off the bench if needed.

Kane and Sterling may not see much more action the rest of this tournament if these last 2 performances are anything to go by.

Pity for Wales. I really felt they were gonna get another win and put the English on the hot seat. Really don't want to see England progress too far. The arrogance and 'exuberance' shown in their media is....palpable.

Just thinking, Northern Ireland winning probably puts the Republic under a bit more pressure if we're looking at the 3rd place teams going through.

Might have to get a win now in one of the games against Belgium and Italy and I wouldn't be too confident of that.

Germany and Poland was the worst game in tournament considering the expectations of it with the quality on display.

Away from the Euros, it proved worthwhile staying up for the USA v Ecuador game. Exciting end to it. The tournament badly needed it as it hasn't been too impressive for me so far.

goetze sucked, but mario looked even worse.

that said, draxler and mueller were bad, too.
Schuerrle seemed to provide a positive impulse.
I reckon Low is gonna try Sane in the next game.

agreed.
Poland can be happy with a pretty well organized display. Milik missed two sitters.
Germany sucked in attack and attacking midfield. Lots of room for improvement. Especially Ozil, Mueller and Draxler.

Maybe you should've claimed Andy Murray a bit more when he wins. Like every time he wins he's British and then when he loses he all of a sudden is Scottish again

Aren't both Foster and Forster injured? I really like Forster though, and I tend to think he should play.
