Portugal have done what they did against Poland, they seem to be set up for 120 minute matches, sleepwalking through the first 45, but clearly having more energy left over in extra time. France didn't really create anything after the Portuguese scored, or look like it.

Conjecture: Without Clattenburg's blunder that goal would not have happened.
Remember Howard webb in 2010, nobody cares about that now
Because the team that won was the one affected negatively, so karma (I assume you are talking about Nigel the Ninja).

I think it's fair to say that the real loser of this tournament is football.

No, the netherlands should've had a corner when spain got the field kick out of which Iniesta made the 0-1

Fittingly disgraceful final with undeserving winner to end an utterly disappointing tournament. Ronaldo beyond ridiculous with his showboating in technical area, fourth official sadly did not have the balls to send him off to the stands.

In fairness to Portugal, they have been on the receiving end of undeserved and unlucky defeats in the Euros past, so they were probably due some luck.
But as neutral it is impossible to take any joy from it due to way they won it tonight.

Oh, sorry.

I guess then it kind of made up for the previous massive error.

In fairness, had Webb done his job properly, that game would never have reached extra time. At least right team won in the end back then.

Ronaldo be like:

I hope the Portuguese take the p*ss out of Ronaldo like some Chelsea fans did with Terry

That was a bit different though. He was mocked because he changed into his kit specifically for the trophy celebration. And he was nowhere near as important to Chelsea as Ronaldo to Portugal.

Ronaldo does the European club and national team double. How many other players did that as a star player. Torres and Mata in 2012 but both were just substitutes. Then no one in 2008, 2004 or 2000

I'm not sure whether that's me changing or the football changing, but I can't recall a major football tournament I got into less than this one. It seems like all tournament, I was waiting for it to finally start for real, but it just never happened.

I'm a big Ronaldo Fan and always hoped he would win a big title with Portugal once. But in the last years I didn't really believe in it anymore since the team always got worse. I'm so incredibly happy right now :D :D :D
