Why? He rode all race as a Deceuninck-Quick Step rider.Lampaert should consider signing for Lotto. His tactics and smarts (or lack thereof) would be a perfect match.
Keep his legs still as soon as Viviani was on his wheel, letting him try to stay away from Ackerman, and have a small chance at the sprint instead of none. What else could Lampaert do ? He attacked and Viviani could follow his wheel - Please give me an alternative.
Yeah, for a rider who will ride a handful of races for DQS before moving to another team. This is an Italian/Cofidis win. Why? He rode all race as a Deceuninck-Quick Step rider.
He could, maybe (just a though) NOT ride full gas when a compartiote is trying to bridge at LITERALLY less than 10 meters from bridging, and he knew full well that Philipsen was there because he was looking back the entire time. He then continued to do a lot of work, while he was the only Belgian in the front group. And after he attacked, he should let Viviani do the work. What else could Lampaert do ? He attacked and Viviani could follow his wheel - Please give me an alternative.
to be fair, there are no race radios allowed in these kind of races, so he probably didn't know that the peloton was doneLampaert should consider signing for Lotto. His tactics and smarts (or lack thereof) would be a perfect match.
QFTLampaert is riding for Deceuninck-Quick Step.
