Wrong. WvA would probably sprint for himself and not protect Roglič.I think it's Van Aert's fault. If he wasn't so selfish, he would have ridden the Vuelta to assist and protect Roglic from such assaults.

He also made some comments about Wright, that he could have kept to himself if he was smart. No van Aert was rightfully preparing for the Worlds, he didn't need to ride the Vuelta. He should however have convinced Primoz to not put that statement out. That was rather selfish of him.
We’re as serious as youC'mon guys. You really are the definition of the peanut gallery. Stop jerking around. Only two months left. Time to get serious.
Perhaps telling them again your thoughts on Wright incident would help?C'mon guys. You really are the definition of the peanut gallery. Stop jerking around. Only two months left. Time to get serious.
Seems like a realistic scenario, unless he deliberately crashes into Fred Wright again. So Catalunya. Then hopefully only Swiss left. To win them all. Then Giro. Then hopefully only Tour left. To win them all.
What to do with the Monuments? Rogla should likely attempt to win some more? Closer to the end of his career? A season or two dedicated for this shorter races. When he can afford to be more chunky.
We'll see.

Conveniently published right after the retirements of Valverde, Rebellin and Gilbert.Came across some interesting stats. Among currently active riders with the most wins. In the top ten all are sprinters. Roglič currently being eight. With 65 wins and counting.

Not true. Sagan is number two.Came across some interesting stats. Among currently active riders with the most wins. In the top ten all are sprinters. Roglič currently being eight. With 65 wins and counting.

Sagan is not a sprinter. Or at least was not.As the article is in Slovene. Here are the numbers from the article.
Mark Cavendish: 162
Peter Sagan: 123
Arnaud Demare: 92
Elia Viviani: 87
Alexander Kristoff: 86
Edvald Boasson Hagen: 81
Francoz Nacer Bouhanni: 70
Primož Roglič: 65
Dylan Groenewegen: 64
Sam Bennett: 60
P.S. All sprinters.
In the period from 2017 to 2023, he is the rider with the most pro victories outright.Hard to say Roglic isn’t a sprinter when the last thing we saw him do was sprinting
But yes, he’s racked up a lot of wins in a short amount of time compared everyone but Cav and Sagan.
How many of his wins were bunch sprints? 75 %?Sagan is not a sprinter. Or at least was not.
Does that change his characteristics? How many of his wins were bunch sprints? 75 %?
From that which is scarce, it's more about his wins than about his character as a racer.Does that change his characteristics?
