No van Aert was rightfully preparing for the Worlds, he didn't need to ride the Vuelta. He should however have convinced Primoz to not put that statement out. That was rather selfish of him.

Wrong. WvA would probably sprint for himself and not protect Roglič.
He also made some comments about Wright, that he could have kept to himself if he was smart.
He has had a really busy off-season recovering from his injuries. New baby. A lot has happened.
We will see how he goes when he comes back but Im not too sure. Think he knows that he will struggle against the likes of Pog, Vingegaard and Evenepoel.
I dont think we will see him dominate races like in the past, but he should of course be very capable still. Just more vulnerable.
I think we can all agree it was Roglic’s fault for not wearing the inflatable airbag which could have kept him in the race. 
Really hope he brings some good form to Giro. Remco chasing Roglics attacks will be fun and vice versa

So Catalunya. Then hopefully only Swiss left. To win them all. Then Giro. Then hopefully only Tour left. To win them all.
What to do with the Monuments? Rogla should likely attempt to win some more? Closer to the end of his career? A season or two dedicated for this shorter races. When he can afford to be more chunky.

Seems like a realistic scenario, unless he deliberately crashes into Fred Wright again.

Give it a rest. In the end it was an internal matter. Something for the peloton. We just tagged along. Now new season is ahead and that is last year's snow. Wright should worry about winning stages at the Tour and Roglič should worry about. Well. He shouldn't really worry about all that much to be honest. If he will be forced to win races such as Catalunya, Giro, nationals, worlds, Vuelta, Lombardia ... so be it. Otherwise there is no real pressure involved. For a rider being 24 in UCI rankings. We'll see.
