Nothing comes easy for this guy
If he has caught salmonella, then one thing in particular will come far too easily. And in great quantity.

Providing Bora actually did come down with salmonellosis and it's not just something social media ran with this just isn't true. Every info link about salmonella I've looked up states symptoms can appear anywhere from 6 hours to 6 days after exposure (or at least 6 hours to 3 days pending on the link), so it's not something where the effects are necessarily immediate.Yeah it's not like salmonella has an incubation time. The effects are pretty immediate. And very nasty.
I was just going by my own experience. Both a friend of mine and myself have had it on separate occasions. And it only took an hour or two before all kinds of unholy things started happening.Providing Bora actually did come down with salmonellosis and it's not just something social media ran with this just isn't true. Fair enough. Let's hope Bora didn't have salmonellosis at all and it was just some social media BS. I'm not even sure where that rumor came from...I was just going by my own experience. Both a friend of mine and myself have had it on separate occasions. And it only took an hour or two before all kinds of unholy things started happening.
This is good news! It's a short day at the office today (well, maybe not with all the celebrations afterward), so all Primoz needs to do is stay upright! Fingers crossed.
I don’t know. Whenever I have these kind of issues, I would lose 2 minutes on they way from my living room to my kitchen to O’Connor which is usually a 10 seconds effort…Even if he has Salmonella, he is not going to lose 2 minutes to O'Connor in a 29 minutes effort.
But Primoz is an elite athlete. For comparison, Dumolin only needed one minute that one time he had issues.I don’t know. Whenever I have these kind of issues, I would lose 2 minutes on they way from my living room to my kitchen to O’Connor which is usually a 10 seconds effort…
Lol, while your statement is true, it's been also true since his first win in 2014 till the last stage of this year's Tour, for a period of 10 years. So it's not like it is a surprising achievement.
Before this season I actually thought he'd reach 100 wins before Pogačar. But after his two crashes in Itzulia and the Tour, and especially after Pogi's dominant performances in both GTs, I don't believe that anymore. Although I still believe he'll go over 100 in number of pro wins.
Watch now Rogla win 7 stages of La Vuelta.
Wondering why Bora would bring a guy to the Vuelta that had cracked vertebrae isn't necessarily a diss on Primoz. They surely got confirmation from him for the selection but it could've been a quick exit if he had the wrong kind of crash along the way.Someone earlier here was talking about 'why' Bora bought Rog.
Tbh I think it's pretty self-evident: he scores.
Yeah it's not the Tour but when today goes as expected he'll have won the Dauphiné and the Vuelta this season. That's why they paid what they paid. It'll be Red Bull's first GT win and Bora's second. It's big for them.
It also totally cements his place in his team now. He's no longer "Rog who won stuff at Jumbo", he's now "Rog who wins stuff with Red Bull".
In any case his ITT start time today is 19:04.
Tadej Pogacar never in his life, had the edge over Roglic in GT wins. I hope that doesn't change next year either...Primoz Roglic has now won more Grand Tours than Tadej Pogacar
Congratz Primoz!!
Nice backhanded complement. When the big dawgs aint there, the little dawg gets a win.
The lucky Vuelta merchant!

What is going on with Valverde‘s throat in this picture? Did he have a weirdly executed tracheotomy just before?Only one rider has finished between them in a Grand Tour.
