Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

Future is always a bit uncertain but then again it makes sense, on how things turned out. At Visma it would be difficult for Rogla, as the team would force Jonas ahead in most races Rogla being interested in. At Red Bull i feel that Rogla is still the natural leader. Watching Visma race, at the beginning of the season, riders like Wout and Kuss struggled a bit and as for leaders, there was already a bit of a clash at PN. In between Jonas and Matteo. Whilst at Red Bull i feel that different riders get their own opportunities without Rogla involved. It seems to me that Red Bull made a progress and for GTs and similar Rogla will add that bit extra. For the team to win a lot. So let it be fruitful in the next two season and beyond. A bit of dilemma and some sweet worries. Would it make more sense to win Giro-Tour-Worlds or Giro-Tour-Vuelta in the same season. Then again why not both combos in years to come!

Awww... come on... I know you're a Roglic-fan, and not like he's an angel.

Well. Not to bring that old story up again; Roglic probably has apologised to Wright by now...

It's not even remotely the same. One thing is stabbing somebody in the back and another thing is to stab somebody in the heart. At Vuelta there was a lot of back action going on, except Sepp, his heart being on the plate.

I'm not saying it's the same in a 1-to-1 sense.
I was just giving an example of a time Roglic did/said something wrong.
But again; he probably has apologised by now.

Roglič raised his voice and that was long overdue, should have happened much sooner. As for Jonas apologising for his behaviour at the Vuelta and in general for slaying the king. No need for that, the wound was luckily not fatal, the king is back and has a mighty army at his side.

All in all they will sort it out on the road.

I think you know what the wrong Roglic did by blaming Wright for that crash was...

My stance on that incident is if Fred had the time to prepare the knee he had the time to hit the brakes too. So if Fred would instead use the brakes and Rogla to realise he ruined his sprint, then something in the lines of sorry mate, that would be warranted. Preferably for Fred to after relegate Rogla due to lets say not being mindful enough resulting in line deviation. Sprinters have to learn that some way. Once the knee was out, forget it.

As for Jonas saying something like sorry mate, fine. It's all good now, that is in the past and Rogla is in a good place again.

I analyzed this crash when it happened and it is obvious to me that Fred braced for impact and was fully aware that a crash would happen if he did not react to prevent it. And he did not react and he did not prevent it and he brought Rogla down. Rogla was unaware that Fred was there, that is also pretty obvious, otherwise he would have braced for impact as well.
Your opinion might differ and there have been some people defending Fred but these are all English speaking and most of us consume English language media so the bias is obvious.
If this is the best example of bad/deceitful/insufferable behavior by Rogla, it is nothing compared to Vingo.
