Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

Yeah, Tour de Suisse should normally be very Roglic friendly. Undulating time trials and usually not crazy amounts of high mountains.

There was a discussion here about the big one-week stage races and Roglic's record in them a few weeks ago. Nobody is even close to his dominance in these races. If he wins all of them, that will be an achievement that will probably not be repeated for a long, long time. Unless someone like Pogacar really puts his mind to it and makes it a goal.
I think we can expect Roglic to win all the one week stage races he participates in until the Tour. He won them all last year and he didn't even have a proper winter because he came back from surgery. Just a normal winter and the added motivation from his move to Bora should suffice to do even better.

Rolf Aldag made some comments a month or so ago in an interview about the Tour de Suisse. It looks like Bora believe it's too close to the Tour & not the optimal preparation, so I don't think he's going there this year.

Paris-Nice seems like a decent shot at a first win with the new team, although stuff will need to work straight away with good communication with his new teammates etc.

If he runs from pogacar and vingegaard until the Tour, for sure he will win all one week races. We hope they face each other sometimes until the Tour, to see some competition.

Any news on Roglic spring programme?

I know he said his main goals are LBL, Tour le Suisse, Tour de France, Olympics and World championships.

He won all the WT stage races in the spring except Tour down Under, which he is obviously no doing in 2024. So no major gaps in the palmares there.

He also already won Liege, and with the exception of fleche wallon, he probably can't win any other spring classic.

Interested to see what races he chooses. Would like to see a head to head with Vingegard at Tirreno or Pogacar at Cataluña, but I know that he preferred to choose Paris NiCe + Itzulia + Ardennes in 2020-2022.

Maybe he could go for Strade + Sanremo + Ardennes as well as Tirreno and Itzulia

I don't think he will do Suisse as they don't believe it to be an ideal preparation for the Tour which is the real target of 2024.

I think he'll do P-N > Itzulia > Amstel > Flèche > Liège > Dauphiné > Tour.

I hope he'll do Catalunya instead of Itzulia though.
I also believe that can be his schedule, mostly because I think these are the prefered races of Primoz in a normal year with Tour the France as a goal. Personally it is also my preference for him but I was counting on Jonas doing PN and not Tirreno, so going there versus Jonas also will be nice.

I´m also doubtful about Dauphiné or Slovenia because I think it is the 30th edition and they want Roglic there or that was what i read some weeks ago in X.
