Because I used it to ask Peyroteo94 if he had the same reaction when Pogi rode as a mountain sprinter.
He always rides like a mountain sprinter. Ok, maybe in 3 or 4 times he was agressive but he rides conservetely 90% of the time. Pogacar is the total opposite, and for me he is way more enjoyable. I am aware Pogi is one of a kind and no one is close to his physical ability but we spent time to criticize the sky train, how boring it was and seeing some people (those ones criticizing Froome and Wiggins) cheering for Roglic it is strange to me. For me he is a very likeable rider off the bike, he just annoys me when he can win by attacking from "far" (3 km to go) and he just waits for his uphill sprint. Today, he was a little bit on the limit but yesterday he was clearly one step above everyone and still stick to his favourite way of riding.

Think there could be some mitigating factors here in that Roglic did crash 2 and 5 days ago, and that it was a rainy low performance day which he usually doesn't like anyway. He did easily gap everyone other than Jorgenson and we may underrate him in such a situation. Jorgenson also got 3rd on stage 2.

I don't think people are actually criticizing Roglic for how he races (at least I'm not), people just find it boring. There is nothing wrong with winning sprints. None of us criticize Cavendish for never attacking from further out. But desperately looking for examples when Pogacar won a sprint on a stage he didn't attack on (that often), won't make Roglic any less boring.
Besides that, there is nothing wrong with someone like the way Roglic races. I find it boring, but everybody has they're own tastes.

Pogacar won in a sprint on Markstein, but let's not forget he attacked Vingegaard in the final climb, and they attacked in almost every mountain stage.

The only stage Pogacar did a mountain sprint was on Col du Grand Colombier but i don’t blame him, because the stage was to easy, and the last climb wasn't that steep to make differences.

That’s because Rogla (unlike Pog) learnt his lesson and keeps his powder dry as long as he can. That’s why he never failed as much as Pog did against Vinge. And ironically, that might be the reason why he lost 2020 TdF…

If he went solo yesterday, he might get dropped today. That’s just how it works. For Pog too, when he’s up against Vinge.

Won quite convincingly against Vinge in PN last year.

When is the last time Roglic won against Vinge where they were racing against each other?

Yeah, it would be much more palatable if they just said they disliked Valverde for whatever random reasons people dislike riders. It must have been particularly difficult at Lombardia last year to not see how Roglic was responsible for the group 2 dynamics behind Pogacar, just like they always said Valverde was.
Are you allowed to say the reason most people who were in the anti Valverde camp outside the clinic?

Well, since they have been on the same team before this season, they hardly raced against each-other. So basically time trials would be the only fair comparison. And Roglič did beat Vinge in the Vuelta TT last year. And they have only raced three and a half stages AGAINST eachother this year. And again, Roglič did beat Vinge in the Itzulia TT. So I guess that is your answer.

They were also on the same team. How can you come to that conclusion?

Oh, conveniently it doesnt matter ok.
But why are you asking this question then if you know they only raced 4 stages against each other? It seems more convenient for you than for me, no? It’s obvious Pog will have beaten Vinge more often than Rog if Rog only raced 4 stages against him.

But out of those 4 stages, it was Rog who had the upper hand anyway…

If Roglic had more in the tank he should do that, because it could be important for him to test or "simulate" the style of race/ way the Tour has been raced in the last 2 years.

He should push himself everyday to the limit, to test himself, check his power numbers and see if he can go full gas everyday, and put minutes in this competition.

There will be no trains or defensive cycling in the Tour with Pogacar and Vingegaard there. Looking at the gaps, day and day out Vingegaard and Pogacar will be 2/3 minutes at the front against this competition Roglic had, so it could be interesting Roglic trying something similar, to "simulate" the conditions of the way the Tour will be raced, and see where it takes for him.

The way they raced today and yesterday, by Roglic and Bora, will not work when the other two go full gas. There's no place to hide.

My point was it doesnt make any sense to post that argument, when one has never been in the position to actually race against the other yet.
