If they are there in the first place, could be UAE and Visma already emptied themself as a team whilst a lot of RBH team members still yawning behind.

If UAE and Visma empty themselves, you won't have a whole horde of group containing 5 RBH climbers.
You'll have 4 riders tops, 2 of them Vingegaard and Pogacar. So no worries, they will be there.
Unless suddenly UAE/Visma drop their level massively.

And as for your second point, the other 2 won't be in better position because of it, they will be dropped by Pogacar/Vingegaard.

Well, that is basically the ideal scenario and position to be in for RBH and IMHO only achievable if they bring a strong climbers oriented team.

Pogi and Jonas aren't team members and they won't work in a way for the other to benefit from it.

No, it's not ideal because they won't have a numerical advantage, as I said once UAE/Visma set the pace for an attack, after the last helper (Kuss/Almeida/Narvaez) does his job, you'll have 1 RBH rider. At best. I actually see a situation at some point when you have a group of Kuss, Almeida , Pogacar and Vingegaard alone.

As for the second point, they will if some RBH rider is a treat to both of them.

I forgot to mention Giro above. As for if Rogla won't undertake the Tour then Giro route is IMHO rather perfect for him and i wouldn't mind Giro-Vuelta attempt in the 2026 season.

Accountable for losing upfront?
Accountable for sending the best possible team, which is not the one you think.

I see. So at one hand, some suggestions from previous debates, RBH would be too good of a team, for that to work, as ego and similar would get involved and on another hand UAE and Visma doms would easily drop them all for Pogi and Jonas to ride in the sunshine with a couple of their doms.

Something doesn't add up.

I don't see that as a realistic outcome, only if RBH plays a number on them or better, out of desperation if RBH is playing with them in general.

I see, secrets. They have another team of superstars and they will reveal it today? Looking forward to that.

I believe that Giulio Pellizzari would win Paris-Roubaix if he stood on the pedals all the way, balancing a Fabergé egg full of ricin powder on top of his helmet throughout, with his teammates following him in crinoline skirts while juggling guinea pigs. It doesn't matter how much anyone here thinks its a bad idea, because just you wait and see.
If, of course, the RBH management decide not to try this tactic, because they lack imagination and professionalism, and Pellizzari does not win under whatever misguided tactic they employ instead, none of you will be able to say I am wrong, because my system has not been tested.

The best team isn't a bunch of superstars

Yes I think it would be difficult with Almeida there, however I think he might do the Giro-Tour, parcours looks good for him.
I'm almost certain Almeida will do the Vuelta. Pogacar won't do it and Del Toro neither (in my opinion), they will both do Canadian classics to prepare for WC there. I think they will do very similar schedules to this year

I never understood why they don't combine Vuelta with WC. It's literally how Evenepoel won his.

I don't think riding a 3 week stage race is an optimal preparation for WC, specific training is much better. Remco won despite that, not because of it
He's a big outlier. My thoughts

Is Valverde also an outlier?

Also, when the Olympics were in Tokyo, 5 days after the Tour, with a big (and not beneficial) time difference, all of top 10 were riding the Tour. Same goes to the Glasgow Worlds IIRC.
Cadel Evans also won his Worlds after going to the Vuelta.

Based on that, I don't think a 3 week race is a bad preparation for the Worlds.
