If none of the three mutants appear at the Vuelta and Rogla reaches good level then he could go for #5. Still, there could be dangerous rivals there i.e. if Almeida recovers and goes to Spain and likely a few other guys.

Tejada could prove to be hard opposition for Roglic because Roglic doesnt give a sh*t anymore.

Nah original is just fine plus Rogla has a lot of such souvenirs at home already. A win is a win, though.

Pogi himself said he liked Rogla's pace. Well done Primoz, helping his compatriot win the stage by tiring his opponents.

I was careful to not say he is as explosive as a beached whale because whale carcasses are known to explode

I see that being a strategy for sure... but he still started pretty good in T-A and Milano-Torino. Not just being there for vibes and miles.

Thats why I am bit hesitant on buying that theory but it may have potentially changed into that now.

I dont question Roglic may still be able to be good over three weeks in the Vuelta and achieve a great result. Winning depends on who he is up against. I would see podium as a very good achievement at this stage of his career, if nothing else, or a big stage-win for a last great moment.
