it seems like Aru is not really comfy when it rains. He looked very tired when he crossed the line today.

Anyways, Astana is f*****g joke team. And it amazes me, yet again, that UCI is so balls-less.

I can't wait for the A-team to roll out for the TdF, that will be amazing to watch.

This is my first post in here but I just wanted to point out since no one else seemed to notice that yesterday on stage 19 with 29k to go, Aru is shown taking a "finisher bottle" very clearly and in slow motion. It's a small plastic bottle/vial that he unscrews the cap off of with his mouth, then spits out the cap before ingesting the contents. It's very clearly a pill bottle and it occurs right before he takes off to win the stage.

Used to be "Pot belge", now maybe pot russe?

Btw, funny to hear Eurosport is making fun of Chiappa's win in Sestriere "on another gear" - Kelly finishes it off with "now we know what that gear was"

2 stages he was struggling to catch up and now he is firing on all cylinders

He was firing on some cylinders, wouldn't say all. A good tactical move, but not like he rode Alberto out of his wheel.
Look at today, the guy drops the 2 best climbers( Landa, Contador) of the Giro sorry all the climbers and Sprints on a climb  to victory. Landa, Contador are logically suffering for their earlier efforts. Hesjesdal, Kruijswijk suffered in the first week and are improving in form. He is the only one with the midway miracle comeback.

*ridiculous.

ie ridiculous midway miracle comeback.

From cracked to 2 stage wins back to back dropping everyone else on the hardest mountain stages of the Giro on the penultimate stages of a 3 week GT.

Merde di Torro.

Actually he was almost dropping himself on Finestre.

I have no idea what happened to him.

There are certainly big big questions to ask of Aru's resurrection, and Astana's strength.
I don't think there are any questions at all. He's obviously a protected rider because he should be glowing right now or he did a BB and the results will never make it to his BP. The only question there is here is who's covering up for Aru? For all of Astana for that matter?

If there is no clearer sign, then what is there? I'm no doctor, and I didn't diagnose Contador's "broken shoulder and he will abandon", but the human body just doesn't work like this. You become tired, then exhausted, and soon you look like death, which is what Aru looked like for the second week. Then literally overnight, you become the strongest rider in the peloton, and win back to back stages, finishing with some good roid rage on one of them. Does anyone NOT see this and find it ridiculous? Somewhere Greg Henderson is muttering TO HIMSELF no doubt....
