This Suarez... the Uruguayan game safer. He does it all, getting goals on the less chances he gets, or making a perfect goal-line save vs Ghana four years ago.
I like this guy. The sniper. Having 1 more goals in 2 shots than Rooney has in 31 at the World Cups... :)

Poor England. They played 2 good matches, and are out.
The way they are playing I'd rate them higher than many other teams here.. just so unlucky.

2nd Suarez goal was offside btw

The refs seem to be quite biased, Uruguay should have never finished the game with 11 players and other South-American countries seem to have it easier too. Apparently I'm not the only one that sees that
Beautiful goals by Suarez anyway

They're not out yet, they could make it yet if Italy beats both Costa Rica and Uruguay.

The lack of draws means even if you win two games you're still not sure of the next round. Even if Italy wins versus Costa Rica they can't relax versus Uruguay. This WC is great so far.

England really lacked wingers.

I am a little bit rusty with that offside rules. But isn´t it no offside if the ball comes from the opponent?

I think Gerrard touched the ball before it hit Suarez in stride...

No it wasn't - the English defender was actually the one who headed the ball, thus allowing Suarez to go for it - just watch the replay

Ok after 4 times I understand that an Englishman headed the ball through, not an Uruguayan.

Can anyone confirm this for a 5th time? ;)

They could but a team has never done it after losing its first two games in the history of the World Cup.

Just realized that FIFA went backwards... I thought they want to improve with baby steps (like Goal-line camera). But no, I was wrong...

Tie breakers for tied teams go with Goal difference first, instead of head to head game(s). Wow, that opens up possibilities for all the kinds of manipulations. What dumb idiots are in the rule commitee? Sometimes.. err... most of times I think they do all the $hit intentionally. They want to make things as unfair as possible.

Explain all that crap (inclusive sometimews absurd offside rules, red cards, yellow cards, etc., etc.) Americans. I think they are ready for soccer. But not that way. Never.

Luis Suarez is one crazy muther****a but imo best player in the world. Put him on a team like Barca or Real or Bayern like Ronaldo, Ribery or Messi have, and he'd outperform them

I decided this last match Uruguay are the team I am going to cheer for. Only ever cheer for underdogs and they fit that bill. Far from the best team but with Luis Suarez, the bad man that he is, they can beat anyone on their day.

Also Uruguay stealing the World cup in Brazil for a second time after how Brazil never forgot 1950, would be the greatest moment in sports history:D

You are fast. OTOH, that was the single time.
I give you the 6-0 Peru 1978 game as counter example. For starters. :D

Maybe they though that choosing goal difference first instead of direct result, will encourage teams to score more goals .
