Chile was bad yeah, but part of that was due to the negative way The Netherlands played. They really only played not to lose (which is not how one approaches any game except for third group games like this) and Chile lacked the creativity and height to break the defense.

Van Gaal fixed the defense and Chile couldn't do anything about it,it's looking very good for Holland at the moment.Unfortunately for Chile i guess they are ****ed now,no chance against Brazil,nobody want's Brazil out of competition so early.

If you play like this and still create three times more chances than your opponent, I guess you're doing something right. I prefer to watch this than 75% ball possession of the Dutch and zero chances.

They lose the group based on 1 goal difference but they had 2 goals wrongly disallowed while on the other hand Brazil have been gifted 2 wrong goals by the referee (1 against Cameroon, 1 against Croatia). Hell Brazil would have struggled to even win against Croatia without that penalty.

Group should be more like

Mexico 7 points. Goal difference +5
Brazil 7 points. Goal difference +2 (and that's if they had actually found a way past Croatia)
Croatia 3 points. Goal difference +1
Cameroon 0 points. Goal difference -8
