Was waiting for this a long time:
COMPLAIN alert @ Rechtschreibfehler

Löw, Löw, and only Löw is to blame if GER loses.
Bring the phucking Klose. He doesn´t need 20 shots for zero Goals like GER has now. He is the sniper, needing max 4 chances for a goal.
I am not payed x-million, but I know this.
Löw this xxx doesn´t know it. What a xxx :mad::mad:
yes, i was taking a pee brake and my guy told me Löw was busy fixing his cuffs… wtf?

Algeria is playing their hearts out. they deserve the win.

oh, ****, NO!!!

algeria's playing is beyond expectation and worth the praise... but are they really capable of beating germany without the laser pointers for which they just got penalized by fifa

i doubt they are.

That goal was over due (20+ shots). OTOH, I had wished now it didn´t come before Klose gets in.
Because it´s time Löw gets some heat for his bizarre personal decisions...
Now all problems GER have with that arrogant guy will be covered in silence again.

German "Beamtentum". If your boss steps away, you the co-trainer gets one step up the ladder. Talent? Deserved? Doesn´t matter. It was (almost) always like this.

Extra time is best I could have hoped for. Kudos to Algeria for making it. This is the most uneven game of the entire World Cup. I don't know if there is a single Algerian would make the Germany d team.

Germany now have Tuesday Wednsday and Thursday only to recover for France.

ah, merci... that's ****ed.

Everybody could "coach" Germany, especially in the hey-days when even "Suppenkasper" Beckenbauer was able to lead GER to the title.

I hope GER gets Breitner after Löw is gone. At least this guy is funny in his special kind.

To be fair, I thought Klinsmann and Löw got a lot of praise after the change of style in 2006. After that, he continued that work and I think Germany played some good tournaments, but were unlucky to meet Spain, one of the best national sides ever, in a couple of occasions (2008/2010). I don't think he did his job that bad ;) Imo he's a pretty good coach.

Well... if you have great players, your job is basically to call them up.
Löw OTOH likes to play games (with Kießling, Kuranyi, Ballack) and thinks he is god when he takes unexpierienced players to the Cup (if it works, he looks like genius. For me that´s gambling).
Then he takes one forward to the Cup, aged 36. It almost backfired tonight.
... Just a few examples.

You could do the job, I could do it, Eshnar could do it. Everybody can who has a little knowledge of soccer and computer analyzing.

Germans not on fire but going into extra time the easiest money I have earned in a long time;) Kudos to a knackered Algeria though.

Germany will beat France.

I don't really see where the vote of confidence for Germany is coming from. Neither France nor Germany looked particularly impressive today. But as I said earlier, the French midfield is so strong physically, that it can run pretty much any team in this WC into the ground. Just look at how shattered Nigerians players were at the end of the game. Germany is maybe the only team that can match that intensity for 90 minutes but playing extra-time against Algeria sure won't help their case in that department. Germany's "fullbacks" lack of pace has been exposed time and time again in this World Cup. If Slimani and Feghouli can breeze past Höwedes and Mustafi, what do think guys like Griezmann and Valbuena will do to the German defense ? Löw better fix his problem with his fullbacks (he could start by playing Lahm where he belongs, whatever Guardiola may think) or Germany is going to be in a world of pain.

On the other hand, the French defense, while not necessarily looking super strong all the time, has three clean sheets in four games in this WC (would have been 4/4 if not for silly mistakes in a game that was already won) and doesn't have weaknesses as obvious as the German's. Debuchy does his job very well so far. Koscielny was actually good today and Sakho should be ready to play by then anyway. Varane is rock solid. Ok, Evra was MIA for large patches of the match today but he should play lower against Germany than Nigeria and he will probably have Griezmann which is more concerned by his defensive duties than Benzema in front of him. Matuidi also covers for Evra very well since the beginning of the tournament so Evra is clearly not as big a liability as the German fullbacks. That's why I don't think the Germans will get many chances against France and they'll have to make them stick which is why I believe they really need a good striker up front to convert those chances. They have only one to pick feom thanks to Löw brilliant planning and there's no way he has 90+ minutes at this intensity in his legs.

Germany probably has more individual qualities and a deeper bench but at the moment the country that plays more coherently as a unit is France. Deschamps clearly looks like he gets more out of his players than Löw. Germany beating France wouldn't be an upset but I don't see it happening unless they raise their level tremendously which they certainly are capable of. Unfortunately for them, their MO since Löw has come on is that they tend to get worse as the tournament progresses.

Barring an early goal from Germany, I expect France to advance in an unimpressive fashion after tiring their opponents like today. My guess would be 2/0 with goals from Griezmann and Benzema. A French victory would be great since BRA seeking revenge for 86/98/06 at home as more appeal to a neutral observer than a GER/BRA match I think. Of course, Colombia has looked much stronger and I expect them to beat Brazil but stranger things have happened in this world cup already.

Weird that in this World Cup the referees are letting obvious penalties go let alone carding players for simulation. As for the crackdown on holding re corners, forget it. I think the referees have been way too lenient so far. Still have no idea who will win, it's been that sort of Cup. Germany, Brazil and Netherlands have looked less than convincing so far.
