As he has for EVERY single poster here. If there is a poster who has won 2.HC stage races posting, please step forward. I make no comment as to him affecting me, as it or my own cycling abilities are irrelevant. Observing his shortcomings, as I have done, is only an insult if you are he, or his mum.
My point is you are as guilty of characterizations and nit-picking (what are nits, anyway?) As anyone here.

"Eternal loser" in the aspect of a Charlie Brown type figure. Is it not fact that he has "lost" most of the things the general forum would prefer to keep? again, more of an observation, not partiality

I'm not a Peanuts fan so the nuance completely escaped me. Your ability to judge character has also.

I do not understand your point. what do you mean in the second sentence?

You may not like all the information exchanged or the semantics but some serious things get discussed.

Most of the website my be PR crap (or CRAP PR) etc, but that new hip is a seriously ridiculous piece of kit. It really is pretty extraordinary that he is a still managing to be a 'pro' '' used because is he technically a pro anymore?

Let alone win/compete/finish those races with a hip so messed up before. I mean, liar:yes, cheat:yes, but hard as nails

I also like how one of the CTs would remind LA that Floyd still has 2 balls...

Oh-la-la-la-la. This was close, scary close.
Even more terrifying was the lengths the French were willing to go to nab Landis. The two male French agents disguised themselves as flamboyant Folie Bergere dancers. The trick worked to perfection as Landis immediately joined them for what he thought was a humorous photo-op after his second place finish at the Callville Bay Classic.
Run Floyd run.
Landis became suspicious when he gave one of the dancers a kiss and felt a holstered gun on her/his right leg. He ran from his bike and succeeded in time-trialing his way to safety.
More ...> [Seconds before the failed abduction.]

It was a very entertaining crit actually, he pulled in two break aways jumped once, tried a few things then sat in back to be safe when the race was closing. Fly V had a full team and all of the top so cal teams were there, I enjoyed myself.

It's his site. Although it's a p1sstake on Lance. Read over it and you'll see the connections. Looks at the UsPS link. Funny guy. Lance must have forgot to pay the hush money last month.

So what is FLandis' plan here? Race unattached and hope a domestic pro team hires him mid-season? Or does he plan on buying food by selling schwag that he wins on eBay?

Buried in the Velonation interview with Michael Ball is this:

MB: "Let me tell you something about Floyd. I like the guy, but his idea of business dealings were not a lot to be desired. It didn't work out in the end because I couldn't take his word, so it ended. I'm fine with that. It didn't end in a bad way, but didn't end in a good way."

Anyone have a clue what Ball meant?

Maybe Floyd asked if there was a possibility of ever getting paid?

Ball probably said "sure, what size jeans do you take?".

I don't get it - he's racing without a team right? If so, why is he pulling back breaks. Shouldn't he be trying to get across to breaks or just attacking solo to draw out a move. I don't see what he gains by pulling back breaks except ****ing people off and making it less likely that he gets on a team. Especially if he's not even going to contest the finish after dragging back said breaks.

yeah I do think that he's trying to get someone's attention with the site. Because why do it now if not?

On the other hand, his actions in the past have often been irrational so who knows.

No, he meant he was away in a couple of breaks. He went solo at least once and had a few people bridge to him, and he was in another break. He was racing aggressively but when the race was winding down he found a place at the back of the pack and just rode in. Could you imagine the chaos in a local crit of riders trying to shove a wheel in front of Floyd to say they beat a "Tour champion" (I know)

Okay, that sounds more like it. Thanks for the feedback from someone in the race. That is how he should be racing of course, aggressively and off the front.

Some of you guys down there in SoCal with Cat 1/2 teams should give him a jersey; if the dude is done in Europe and just wants to race like the rest of us the least that can be done is to get him his gear at cost.

Maybe he was pulling back the breaks at the behest of friends or members of a team he's jockeying to get on. Maybe he was sort of doing a job interview?

If you are not in a break, then you need to pull that break back. Also He will have a new jersey soon, like this week...
