He said he wanted to be good again at the italian races. I don't think he did do anything specific for the canada races. He could have been better though. He was dropped with 40 - 50 guys remaining at the Montreal race. Perhaps he is going to altitude now.

At the German Sports Personality of the Year award (he came 3rd), Lipo just said that he didn't touch the bike for eight weeks due to his health problems at the end of the season.

As far as I know he would have been able to ride the bike but they decided to rest and also did surgery to his nose to fix his problems with viral infections.

Seeing the level of Bora riders, Pellizzari, and especially the 2022 version of Vlasov, I'm very curious to see Lipowitz. We'll see if he's improved and what the difference is between him and Remco in the high mountains.
