The reason, Tank91, why nobody is interested in a Movistar thread, is because they don't have the raft of defenders willing to engage in blind denial of what their eyes are telling them, unlike Sky, and Froome in particular.

I unfortunately took it upon myself to have a quick scan of the comments section on the BBC report of Saturday, and despite not having seen the defences cooked up by Armstrong defenders in the early 00s first hand, it seems that many Brits (of which I am one) are simply regurgitating the USPS mantra of 'no positive tests.'

Being relatively new to following the sport closely I've seen myself go from wide eyed newcomer, to optimistic sceptic, to now simply laughing at the TV at races such as TA, CI and now the Tour. For me, it is depressing that when I was asked by some non-cycling following friends who I actually wanted to win the tour yesterday, I struggled to answer the question, and equally frustrating is the blindness demonstrated by our media with Paul Kimmage once again seemingly a lone voice (see his video interview with Frankie Andreu on the Irish Independent site).

It appears ASO said something as Saturday was absurd. Well it was so ridiculous not even USPS would have been so obvious. Not even in 2004.

I think on Saturday Sky weren't sure on how much juice Saxo & Movistar were going to amp it. Thus Sky went overboard. They were all too excited to show off. Porte more so. He was stupid. Should have held back and rode in with Valverde.

But Kennaugh killing everyone prior was enough to raise eyebrows then Porte and Froome went full ***.

Never has doping been so obvious than it was on Saturday. It was laughable.

The numbers confirm how totally ridiculous it was.

And now its Monday and all that's been forgotten - PLAN ACCOMPLISHED.

In some thread in PRR, I think the team evaluation thread but not sure.

To my knowledge EBH was speaking about the classic squad, which Froome wasn't apart of. I can see no reason why Sky would increase Froome's training volyme by much when he performed excellent in TdF last year.

Seriously this Forum is messed up please reply to this question:D, would you rather Froome have cracked completely and Valverde takes mins out of the field? because me thinks its anyone but Sky give the dopers a pass but beat Sky? You cant deny it look at the pages all Sky stuff has reached, what about Astana and Movistar huh, I had to make a Movistar stage after yday yet you guys are more interested in Sky. Sad it really is GOODBYE.

Logic is not your strong point.

You should troll on back to the articles cyclingnews does and post there. It's where you belong.

So Armstrong tested positive did he? I wonder why it never came out and was covered up? Oh that's right...the UCI are corrupt! I wonder why the ASO fired Patrice Clerq in 2008? Oh that's right, he was going to BAN Armstrong from returning to the Tour because he knew he was BAD NEWS. Armstrong was welcomed back in 2009. Or did you forget this?

Did you also read up on the dozens of threads on how it is so easy to micro dose epo and infuse your own blood back into your body? How most PEDs have a glow period of only a few hours, meaning to catch people, they have to be tested during the night! Oh no...the testing works. That is why all those Rabo riders confessing to doping admitted they got away with it for so long! Had nothing to do with doping being ahead of testing now did it? Or how about Bernard Kohl? Remember his story about how he'd had over 200 tests and had been doped for over 50% of them. He tested positive once.

But do repeat this tripe some more champ. Oh and do tell us how Froome of all people now manages to beat known dopers. Just him. Nobody else in the peloton, apart from his Sky cohorts. Just the Anglos...beating up on all the former dopers.

Oh and for the record. CONI actually do try and catch dopers. The RCS and Italian Cycling Federation are very strict. The French? Not so much. AFLD are, sorry were vigilant until the ASO FIRED PATRICE CLERQ. But again, you knew all of this didn't you!

TANKk91...rename yourself to TROLLINGSINCE91 or THICKASABRICK91. CAPITALS FTW BRO!

Welcome to the circus where just about everybody involved are clowns.

Only a fool would want to distinguish between the players at the top of the GC at this time.

However the entertainment requires less dominance and a more open "battle", otherwise the value is too small and people will switch off the TV.

So Wonderdawg, Piti, Clentador or perhaps Zombie Schleck? Take your pick.

]It is not just that one hopes that Sky is doping[/B]. There are inconsistencies surrounding the team, Wiggins and Froome. Their development, meteoric rise over one season [each] and performances thereafter. These performances can be compared directly to the doping era and Froome in particular is at that level of performance. Wiggins placing third in a jacked-up 2009 Tour is suspicious, especially after his lackluster year before at High Road and his lower watt average in 2012. Not everything can be explained with simple weight loss.

No, but it is partly that. and that's the problem.

Lance being exposed so many years after 500+ passed tests is the ultimate lesson that you can win being doped and get away with it. From now on everything that was won in the past and what happened after Lance until today must be questioned. We are entitled to do this. The outrageous performances of Froome and Porte on ax3 are either miracles of human and science evolution or use of PEDs. Plain and simple.

There are some person-to-person comments today that could be seen as personal attacks. Let's put a little chill on. Some of these posts are too close to inciting fights.

Write sentences that don't use the pronoun "you". Eg, "you are", "you belong", etc.

Thank you for your cooperation. And for not trying to smartass your way around this.

They know a thing or seven about dedication, must be said.

The myth is growing.

JESUS CHRIST!!

IF I was Froome, i'd use my rest day to go to Oakley offices and beat the living sh!t out of their design team.

SERIOUSLY!! HAVE THEY LEARNED NOTHING??

Jesus wept.

It's no evidence of doping, of course, but it is an OPEN DOOR to mockery and nudging! That can't be real, surely?

<checks it up> F*** me, it is!

I repeat.

Jesus.

Wept.

i particularly like the literal translation in french - "it's not given to everybody!" - nudge, nudge, ...stone me.

Hahahaha. That is funny. Good old Oakley up to their usual degenerative level of behaviour. Looks like they have found their new hero.

Seems the winner has already been decided

Christian Prudhomme: "I find Froome very elegant in his way of speaking with a sweet voice & his eyes are very expressive."

Froome is the new ASO sweetheart. Pass me a bucket please.

Wow ASO really do get around! I thought Andy Schleck was the poster boy.

So i found this. It says: Ufff... i almost got K.O but managed to hang on. ---- Rest day.

No wonder Froomes GF tweeteed "stand by your man" the other day. Prudhomme is after him.
