Many are talking.

Valverde calls him "different". That says it all.

Different in Spanish means a lot.

Valverde will know. That's for sure.

I am pleased to see that. But i wasn´t just referring to the riders in the Peloton but also the old guns. Have Merckx said anything about Froome? Hinault? Dare i even say Armstrong?

Surely they´ve must have recognise that we (if clean) are dealing with the most complete athlete of all time. Able to give doped times a run for their money while being able to TT like no "pure climber" ever before.

And yet everything is so silent.

Sky are so weak now, probably means Froome will go full blown alien mode on Ventoux :D

We need a gif of Dawg in panic mode when saxo went. That was hillarious

This is good. A minute obviously doesn't mean much but he must be getting very nervous now. It'll be payback time on Ventoux, and then the pseudo scientists will have a field day.

Why is he so dominant this year? Superior coaching and training by and with power . Do you think Contador and Valverde are looking at their PMC's after every stage? Do you think Contador and team coaches(do they even have those on Saxo?) even know what a TSS is? Let me assure you. The boys at Sky are and have been for quite a while. Sometimes the old adage, "Train smarter, not harder" is really true.

They not only have SRMs, they also have riders and DSes who know how to race (and not just paraphrase trivia and obscure mantras).

Well, they're usually more accurate than the actual scientists in predicting who is doping...

Then again, this is pro cycling, so your chances of someone doping are pretty high...

And there's your problem.

Actual scientists don't try and predict. That's for Madam Rita in the tent with the Tarot.

They try and find out.

Thing is though, you have actual scientists in here on the intertubes flaming people for giving opinions regarding the data available. Not sure if you're familiar with the intertubes forum format, but it's generally regarded as a place to offer opinion and discuss things. Maybe Coggan needs to stay in the lab, because as has been pointed out, when he comes into a thread and starts insulting the common folk, the rider the common folk are discussing usually turns out to be a doper.

That's not a scientific assessment however, it's just based on common observation...

Also note that one of Coggan's heroes tried to "find out" about Armstrong...and he determined Armstrong had a heart the size of a baby's head, and pedaled more smoothly than anyone else in the history of the world...turns out, he missed that it was because LA was doping...

So Froome showing weakness today...not only tactical. If it's true what Stannard said during post-race interview, Froome wasn't able to follow when he tried to close the grap.

hat would that mean clinic-wise, Froome juiced up on demand only prior to seemingly important stages?
