So the team of science and marginal gains has never tested Froome's VO2 max? Bull****.

Why would they? That is, in what way does it represent "actionable intelligence"?

FWIW, even though the equipment is easily at my disposal, I stopped measuring my own VO2max ~15 y ago, and don't plan on doing it again until I turn 60 (to see if I reach my long-standing goal of "60 at age 60").

Twice Sky have cheated regarding feeding on a climb, and anyone believes they wouldn't dope? Sky will do whatever they need to win. Only a fool believes their protests about doping.

EDIT: Sorry, once. Evidently they relaxed the feed rules on Ventoux...

Anyone see what happened to those bottles? I'm really curious as to what is actually in them.

If they're willing to blatantly disregard the rules like that, who's to say they won't dope?

Yep.
Terrific PR move there for Sky. Cheating in the race when pleading for everyone's trust.
Bizarre.

Yes, Porte will be officially due any fine but come on, it was for Froome so they should act accordingly.

That's like saying anyone who hangs on to a motorbike to make the time limit is a potential doper. It's desperation, plain and simple.

Quintana sub-40 and Froome still a good time if he really did bonk. Everyone behind Valverde was slow though.

Froome still had his on his bike until the end at ventoux.

Any testing done on the bottles? Just curious as to why only Sky appears to need those final ones on the climb.

39 minutes up the first time.

40 the second. Not bad.

Ventoux wasn't though, it was planned. Unless they changed the feed rules before the stage.

I retract that, it was apparently told on race radio.

In England cheating is called gamesmanship.

Hopefully, Froome and Porte will at least get fined this time.
