I'm only gonna stick the tip in baby, I swear. You can trust me...

Now, you don't need a PhD in statistics or exercise physiology or any particularly sophisticated models to convert ITT times or VAM times into power data and VO2max data to see that there's absolutely no manifestation whatsoever of any extraordinary 'at the physiologocal limit' VO2max value for Froome from anything before the 2011 Vuelta. Now, why would that be the case, I wonder? The official explanation for that given so far is bilharzia. Or did I miss something?
Jahudor said:Yes thats the explanation they come up with. The Bilharzia story however is getting more and more suspicious as is being discussed in the Badzilla topic. It seems Froome still needs to be treated for it two times a year in Africa - strange!

Walkman said:The hypocrites, they are everywhere these days.
ChewbaccaD said:Twice Sky have cheated regarding feeding on a climb, and anyone believes they wouldn't dope? Sky will do whatever they need to win. Only a fool believes their protests about doping.
EDIT: Sorry, once. Evidently they relaxed the feed rules on Ventoux...
hrotha said:Froome rode like an idiot and apparently miscalculated. Porte as strong as ever. Some other guys are obviously keeping up. Others, predominantly those from the nether regions, apparently aren't.
Bakhjulet said:Those early attacks by Froome on d'Huez... I'm mean WTF?! He leads with over 4 minutes, he must have know that Quintana and Purito would attack to gain time on Kreuziger and Contador. Why not just try to follow their attacks instead of attacking himself? Froome need to start using his brain.
IndianCyclist said:no more full ***. In the next 2 stages he should be in suffering defensive mode.
Wallace and Gromit said:OK. Where are the condemnations of Froome's Pantani-style 38 minute ascent of the Alpe?
Such an ascent was widely predicted, so I assume it happened, so the non-condemnations are presumably because Froome's erstwhile knockers have "gone native" and are pretending he ascended in an entirely believeable 41 minutes.

D-Queued said:Folks, you are looking at the wrong cheating.
Please note how Froome is handed a drink right after the finish line, as the doping control officers arrive to accompany him.
This is a violation of doping control.
Between the late feed and the feed after the finish, it is quite possible that the urine can be sufficiently diluted to mask trace PEDs.
Dave.
