That sounds believable cause we know Froomey is in even bigger alien mode when on horse steroids. He should have gotten one, he would have been flyyyyyyyying on the Alpe. How inconsiderate of him.

Dr Ferrari comments about the Tour de France, and the winner

Ferrari calling Froome a doper in all but name

Froome's performances, who was heavily insulted in the last stages by overeager fans probably excited and incited by the many allegations in the French press, are in line with those of the TdF of the past 15 years.
His disproportionate body, that already in 2013 I defined as "alien", his ungainly position on the bike, his accelerations at cadences never seen before make Chris a cyclist "different" from the classic stereotypes of the European tradition, such as Nibali, Quintana, Valverde and Contador himself. Different and therefore suspect.

I'm with Steve Cram...Walsh obviously never runs any Froome copy past him :)

“He almost embarrassed his competitors with his ease of victory. New-found ability in your mid-20s has the odour of North Shields fish quay on a warm day.”

maybe, he already called him so 3 years ago

I prefer "alien" from Dr Ferrari who knows what he´s talking about, than hundreds of harsh and hating posts on here and twitter about anything Froome does/says

That's a fantastic quote.

But it isn't about Froome.

It's about Rachid Ramzi.

yup I know...but Walsh's piece about the athletics situation sits alongside Cram's quote in the Sunday Times.....Froome isn't picked on because of HIS transformation...Froome is picked on because anyone with any knowledge of endurance sport knows the reason behind ANY such a transformation be it swimming, athletics, skiing or running is likely to be the result of only one thing...

or do you think that Walsh asked Cram to asterisks that with a footnote reading (obviously other than Chris Froome who is like a herring flipped fresh from the north sea, gutted and eaten raw with just a sprinkling of squeezed lemon juice and sprig of dill)? ;)

No he's not, he's saying because he's not your typical classical grand tour rider he's getting a lot of stick when he shouldn't be.

No, he compared Froome to winners of the last 15 years, most known as dopers, the others strongly suspected of being dopers.

Funniest bit from Dr. Lamborghini: "past 15 years" = no difference between 2000 and 2015. From the Master of mountain trailer.

Naah, he's saying that Froome's performance is not alien or mutant or riis-pantani like but in line with those of the TdF of the past 15 years. But as Froome looks different or weird on the bike some idiots guided by French media can't see that.

Yes, and who were the winners from the last 15 years?

Let's see:

99-05: Armstrong
06: Landis/Pereiro
07: Chicken/Contador
08: Sastre
09: Contador
10: Contador/Schleck
11: Evans
12: Wigans
13: Froome
14: Nibali

As we all know, Armstrong, Landis, Rasmussen and Contador were squeaky cleans ;). From all the crying from the Sky camp, it's safe to say that Nibali isn't playing fair either. Evans has a dodgy team history and has a past connection with Ferrari. This leaves Sastre who rode for ONCE and Riis

When Ferrari says that Froome and Wigans are matching the performances of these guys, what do you really think he's suggesting? Yet we're expected to somehow believe these two are cleanz. Reread the last line of Ferrari's quote.

Pull the other one.

In my opinion Ferari is just pointing out what many fans perceive...

Someone making a perfectly traditional Monet into a messy Dali...

Cycling fans are used to some sort of consistency (visually)..

The last real (dominant figure) change in that regard came with Armstrong...

So Froome ignites that memory...

Froome links with Dr. Bermon
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/cycling/tour-de-france/11759725/Tour-de-France-2015-Chris-Froome-keeps-up-his-smooth-progress-towards-second-crown.html

I know that this has already been spoken about, because he was the doctor that allegedly assisted with the Pulmonary Function Test, but I find it interesting that Dr. Bermon has also been involved in this:
http://www.tas-cas.org/fileadmin/user_upload/AWARD_3759__FINAL___REDACTED_FOR_PUBLICATION_.pdf
Do a name search on Bermon for pertinent sections...

Noteworthy is that Bermon is commenting on Testosterone levels. To add a reasonable amount of balance to the argument, I will note that his work history is very reasonable.
http://www.eubylonhealthcare.com/de/spezialisten/st%C3%A9phane-bermon

I am genuinely not trying to make any conclusion from this (my mind on this whole thing has been made up years ago), but I do find it interesting that you would go to a doctor with such a working knowledge of testosterone levels that he has been called as a witness in a CAS hearing, for a Pulmonary Function Test. And the same doctor had already allegedly had links with Vino as well.

I really think Dr Ferrari's comment sums up what we are all talking about. There is too much evidence, just like with Lance. However, it took a long time to surface. Are the public so naive?

Just seen this post on inrng. Just thought it was interesting in comparing the TdF winners from the turn of the century in relation to your post. I'm only copying and pasting so no idea if the numbers are accurate.

"Tour de France winners from 2001 onwards. The number after their name is their highest recorded watts figure as per the chronoswatts website (only figures of big climbs were used, 35+ minute duration).

1991-1995: Indurain (459)
1996: Riis (448)
1997: Ullrich (456)
1998: Pantani (468)
1999-2005: Armstrong (456)
2006: Landis (442)
2007,2009-2010: Contador (431)
2008: Sastre (421)
2011: Evans (410)
2012: Wiggins (407)
2013,2015: Froome (419)
2014: Nibali (428)

Average of above numbers over 5 years.

1991-1995: 459
1992-1996: 457
1993-1997: 456
1994-1998: 458
1995-1999: 457
1996-2000: 457
1997-2001: 458
1998-2002: 458
1999-2003: 456
2000-2004: 456
2001-2005: 456
2002-2006: 453
2003-2007: 448
2004-2008: 441
2005-2009: 436
2006-2010: 431
2007-2011: 425
2008-2012: 420
2009-2013: 420
2010-2014: 419
2011-2015: 417

And.

Average watts of winner up to and after last disqualified winner (Contador 2010).

1991-2010: 451
2011-2015: 417"

Looking purely at the numbers there is an obvious downward trend.

Except Wiggo did 450W for 63 minutes in the penultimate TT in 2012.

Which is right on the money with the years previous.
