More importantly what's going on with the heads at Team Sky?

Podium.jpg

I know Porte and Dawg are friends but they've got to stop sharing HGH.

I think they've both become 'mutant'.

Yes

The other day I was watching Paris Nice with my dad. When Richie won the tt, my dad said "you can tell from his head he's a doper"

What chances for the spanish to form a 'Spanish Armada' and gang up v Skyborgs?

Conto, J-rod & Valv....and their 3 teams.

That i see is about the only possible way we are going to see an exciting TdF.

Otherwise i have visions of the Sky Train on that final climb in the daup. being repeated all month....

I think the Spanish forming and armada against Sky is mostly just wishful thinking. Maybe if Froome and Sky have a iron grip on the entire race and none of the 3 big Spaniards can even get away for a stage win they might try to work together. But for the most part I expect them to ride for the interests of themselves and their teams first, before each other to beat Froome and Sky. I would love to see them form a armada though, it would definitely make things much more interesting.

And i thought last year Sky would, after their whole-season peak, lay low and winning something here and there to avoid looking suspicious but this is getting even more pathetic. Froome alone has been "in form" since January and the only thing we know is holding him back from not winning La Vuelta (heck he can prolly do the triple with one leg) after his scripted Tour-win, is the strategist within Sky holding him back. If only the dog was unleashed FOR REAL in 2013 as that cocain-stared mans t-shirt promised.

Sometimes i wonder Froome is some kind of joke micromanaged from the sport itself. I expect someone soon jumps out revealing that Froome is actually an medical and chemical experiment which have been created since Anatomic Jock Race seeing how good a mediocre rider actually can be with artificial help. I also expect them saying the Dawg was created for the purpose of fighting doping since they have microdosed him and is hard to detect in regural doping test. Good one there Pat. Way to go.

Suffering?

You mean he had a parasite disease, didn't even know it and was able to finish both Tour and Giro? (2008, 09)

Seriously?

You mean this disease was only bad enough to put him middle of the pack. But when cured of it he goes from middle of the pack to 4 minutes ahead of it and faster than Contador?

Man this disease is cool.

Are you qualified doctor specialising in parasitic disease ? If not, then how can you possibly give a qualified answer. It is perfectly possible to suffer from a chronic disease for years without knowing about it.

The first thing I'd do if I got a time machine was to travel to august 18th 2011 and make a post in the Vuelta thread saying "I just put €1000 on Chris Froome to podium! Mark my words, he'll do great here", and look like a ****ing genius for years to come in this forum. :D

Problem is, youd end up in a mental institute and would never be able to see the responses.

Condator will only beat Froome if he gets another "cut of meat" delivered in the refrigerated panniers of a moto on the rest day.

This is what we're gonna get when Contador wins against Froome, hitch better pay attention to british newspaper then. The chance that they'll bring up 'steak' will be 99,8888888%

The *** logic "only doped riders can beat us". Well i guess it's true knowing sky is doped :D

Aint that simple. Idiots with a keyboard may go up in uproar at a doper beating froome. But the British Media has spent the last 11 months making the case that cycling is 100% clean now. Thats the proof that froome and wiggins are clean. Cycling is clean. We dont see the super performances anymore we dont see europeans winning the TDF we dont see positive tests etc.

That would be the best thing about Contador winning. it would destroy the entire narrative. They want to in 10 years say - Wiggins/ Evans was the beginning of the clean era.

If Contador wins its gonna look a lot more awkward saying - 2012 was a clean year, then 2013 was doping again but 2014 onwards was clean again.

They will definitely mention his doping past the whole time and the fact that he's working with Riis. Clean cycling ok but they are always rotten apples like santambrogio. That will be their reasoning.

Did they ever write about leinders? besides that guy in your sig. If froome gets defeated by whoever it is, cyclingnews posters will all be in shutdown for a week cause of drunking themself into a coma.

Froome did the ITT today btw and he needs rest? the dauphine didn't give me that impression

It's looked more than awkward for the 20+ years they've been repeating that cycling is "now" clean. Look for absurdity in the retroactive claims rather than logic.

Exactly LOLOL '98, '06, '08, '11, '12,...
