This thread is hilarious.
Froome would be talking to Portal, not Brailsford. He was not talking all the time, he would be checking the gaps to following riders at various points. And he was having difficulty hearing information (witness at least two times, he had his finger in his ear, trying to drown out the noise of the crowds).
Of course he braked when the motos slowed up. What do you expect him to do - run into the back of them? TV coverage showed a veritable traffic jam of motorbikes at one point. We even saw one moto run into the back of another one.
The screenshot posted earlier clearly shows a tailwind at least at one point on the climb, despite 'evidence' from other sources.
What's the point in selecting different sections of the climb to compare to previous? Is it just to provide evidence to biased opinion? Bike technology, training techniques, road conditions, weather conditions, team makeup, rider physiology ... these and many other factors have an influence on how quickly a rider climbs a hill. Just because a rider's quick, doesn't *automatically mean* he's doping.
Look at Froome's body shape. He has skinny arms, skinny lower legs, and huge (in comparison) thighs. Just right for climbing hills.
There will be no UCI deal, not with Cookson going head to head with Pat. Pat will be desperate to find something to pin on Sky, British Cycling, and Cookson.
But I'll let you rant on, with no evidence, no insider leaks, no test positives. It's obvious he's doping. Why? Well, because it's obvious, of course
