Einstein was.

Don't even try comparing the two. Please. Two different puruits.
Einstein was a superior intellect. It is estimated humans use such a small part of our brain there is an incredible amount of room for improving. His genius is no surprise.
Froome is a doped up biker with no business being more than a mediocre domestique. He showed zero signs of being superior on a bke at any point in his life. Albert Einstein showed he was light years ahead of everybody at a very early age.

Spare me . Please

Malakies.. Froome is sooooooo obviously doped and his performance soooo obviously alien that made me not wanting to watch the rest of TdF. These doped athletes and their teams are playing around with our intelligence.. they think that we are all idiots who are not able to judge if a performance like Froome's is possible or not.

But anyone having a little experience in cycling knows that his performance is not possible.

Sick and tired.. this TdF tends to be a parody of a race..

Ahh. couple problems with your argument.
One, most of the Skidiots have even less than a little knowledge about cycing.
Two, Sky only wants to convince the Skidiots they are clean. So it is no insult their intelligence after all.

Actually, he didn't. He had excellent Maths and physics marks thoughout his academic career, but his other marks were broadly speaking decent to mediocre - he didn't become a 'cause celebre' untill his mid to late twenties, which is actually quite late in mathematical circles...

More to the point, what the hell has einstein got to do with the price of fish? This whole thread is in serious danger, if not already there, of shark jumping...

Cut out the insults. You can make you case without childish slurs.

Sorry but that's an urban myth. It's rubbish.

It's half true (or even less, really)- the 'processing' 'intellect' part of the brain is physically small - but it's supposed to be, the rest isn't sitting idle like unused RAM, it handles other vital functions.

The roads are better. Cyclists are going faster.

You are getting warm.

Actually the planet is.

Sky's secret weapon is Climate Change. Warmer temperatures mean lower air resistance.

The best part is that the other teams and their cyclists don't realize this, and don't realize that they can go faster with the same power outputs.

Actually heard Bobke suggest that the illegal feed was all part of the 'Marginal Gains' practices.

That was before Froome pulled the full *** and laid all doubts to rest.

Speaking of illegal feeds, has anyone else noticed how the stage winners are grabbing water bottles/liquids right after the stage and before Doping Control grabs them?

[RANT]

F'ing UCI...

UCI stupid rules about 3:1 frame component ratios, 0 degree bicycle seats, and no feeds for amateurs in the last 20k of a race... and NOTHING but doping facilitation for the pros.

It is funny when you consider just how ridiculous it looks when there is one particular guy so juiced up you think he actually glows in the dark comparing it to what possibly is a more cleanish peleton, although we cant be sure. This tells you what the difference is. What a mediocre rider can do against the best under influence of "enhancements".

Froome must be some kind of social experiment. I am pretty sure of this. Soon they will blow it all off saying that this is what can be done in order to win. Stop this.

faster?? this is not a particulary hard Tour, most of the stages are flat, there is not medium mountain stages, except tomorrow in Galp, the hihg mountain is not especially hard... stages ar not specially long except two of the, but the average is goint to be slower than other harderst Tour likely.
these past day with tail wind the speed was high, but first days with headwind, we saw flat stages of 150 k at 38 average...
And if you see Mont Ventoux.. 3:10 min slower than Mayo, with tailwind... I would consider even possible to beat Mayo clean yesterday with that wind... maybe Quintana in the future could do it,, but it was a bad time, and people is still speculating.,. it is crazy...

And mayo was always alone, never protecting as yesterday froome with Porte or even Quintana...yes, more km, of course, but it is the same at the end...the best time in alp D huez is not an ITT.
