I'm sure The Mighty Uniballer in his prime would look the same - supporting the harshestest lifetime bans for the first offense, disbanding the team, jailing the team bosses... anything, once you're the protected "chosen" one

Don't think this was the case, Lance was happy to welcome the likes of Basso back from what I recall, as long as they didn't spit in the soup

Guilty or innocent; if the Dawg's deemed dirty so is the rest of the current peloton.

Given the way he's riding away from the bunch, at will, I would have thought the opposite were truer.

There's a very obvious difference between calling for harsher terms on generic dopers (no actual person in particular) and being friendly with the actual people (e.g. froome with contador) that seems to have totally flown over your head.

Perhaps you or doperhopper could find some statements where Lance called for harsher penalties for dopers then.

Well after all, he did donate $125k to catch all those nasty dopers so they could not beat him.

Froome with his Sky budget and protection is happy for low level dopers to get busted and outed for 4 years.

Awesome work Froomey. Keeping doping under the passport exclusive and out of reach of the common man.

you what?

Following on from Tour De France winner Chris Froome’s visit to Kenya recently, there’s a great story from Rwanda, where Kenyan John Njoroge came fourth in the Tour Of Rwanda last weekend behind the fancied South Africans and Eritrians.

Njoroge’s apparent last words of encouragement before leaving Kenya came from Froome himself – and the Sky Team leader personally supplied kitting to the team.

Could it be the new Froome?

4th in a strong field in the tour or Rwanda is a good sign.

If he wins the tour in 5 years I wont be surprised.

Only if he was wearing running shoes. It would have helped if he had finished outside the top 15 as well, that is a better sign of future success.

I can see "Shoes for Africa" foundation set up.

Undiscovered Dawgs can get their big break in cycling by replacing their sandshoes with actual real life cycling shoes.

You know why it's a circlejerk? Because Team Sky fanboys keep throwing around the same freaking arguments that don't make any sense.

Did you see that on twitter : yesterday Ph.Gilbert post a picture of the col de la Madone saying "@lancearmstrong Your climb dude."
A few hours later @michellecound "@PhilippeGilbert @lancearmstrong didn't you get the memo Phil? it's now @chrisfroome's climb"

Is she crazy ? Everyone knows this climb was used for 20 years by Michele Ferrari to test his best doped riders. I know people who didn't buy a Trek just for that reason, Madone = EPO just like Puerto = BB.
This girl is stupid, or...

Cool from Gilbert, I suppose it's kind of Lance his climb. He bested Rominger's time up there in 99. Michele is a total *****. Froome's climb lol GTFO!

If I had a pound every time a Sky hater said this I'd have at least 15 pounds, maybe as much as 30. Change the record, it's so dull. The haters do as much if not more to perpetuate these threads and make the same points and post the same picture over and over again. It's like you're stuck in a time loop.
