Nope. Just pointing out the uh irony.

You get a gold star then...because the reality is that I had read the post I claimed not to...it's kind of how I knew she was full of sh!t. I'm sure every post you've made was 100% accurate though...

EDIT: And you're still angry you flubbed up the proper usage of "inherent." Come on, you know you're still tweaked about it.

If you'd open your eyes, you'd see that several are. But you have some other agenda, and quite frankly, I don't really care what it is. What I will say is that I don't think del needs you to carry his water, so why don't you do this: Write when written to, but otherwise f*&k off.

Have you finished yapping, little doggie?

Just because he was aweful doesn't mean he didn't dope. There are riders in the peloton doing EPO who are even worse than Barloworld Froome. My guess is Froome started blood doping in 2011 but no way was he clean before that.

The better rider and current program won. What was done as a junior or last year counts for d*ck. That's US for Sweet f*ck all. You can't project back any farther than that.

The end of another Grand Classic

I saw Joaquin Rodriguez shake his head at the end of a recent mountain stage. On Saturday's stage he made an attempt to distance himself and was caught, with ease, by Froome and Contador. Then, suddenly, the hitherto fading Valverde found enough wattage to catch and pass him. Liggett and Sherwin (Pinky and Perky) made their usual histrionic commentaries on what was ostensibly going on - trying to give some credence of validity to the clash of 'Titans'. Seems to me I recall riders of yore being exhausted after climbing like that. Neither Froome nor Contador evidenced exhaustion. Contador got caught doping two years ago - Valverde in 2010. This whole thread points to the fact that Froome is a doper - actually he's either a superman (if he's not doping) or, if he is, Contador is a fitter/stronger doper. Froome dragged Contador up on Saturday - Contador was out of the saddle dancing most of the way. That's got to be a far greater energy-sapper than being seated - yet he still sped away on wings - after being out with a broken leg. I've never felt easy about Sky getting into pro-cycling - anything they get into they want to be first in - I can't see them NOT ensuring their team are successful. Maybe that's why Wiggins was demoted to allow Froome first place. I don't wonder why 'Purito' shakes his head - I can't find a hint that he's doped - but maybe I'm being naive to pick out one rider as possibly clean in a dirty sport.

Not sure this is the best place for this, but since there was discussion of 'stick-gate' upthread, I thought I'd post here

The guy with the orange t-shirt on the other side of the road is the perp - good to see it was an innocent (if dumb) mistake rather than more malicious!

Your link doesn't seem to be working. It must be this one though?

And yes, it looks like a mostly innocent mistake. The guy was banging a stick of some sort against the road, and the end broke off and flew up into the air.

Inadvertent act. No malice. Mystery solved.

So is this the right moment to ask why does this man bang a stick against the road while we have a bike race going on?

Presumably the same reason people bang cowbells, or those funny inflatable bashing sticks that charities give out at marathons and such like?

Anyway, apologies about posting the broken link, not sure what I did wrong!

It's a fine discussion to have, just maybe not in this thread?

There are plenty of threads cover this topic in the non-clinic road racing sub-forum. I mean that in the nicest way possible.
