Froome is an arrogant 'custard'. Just having a bit of fun!!. Not a bright guy showing no respect. Brailsford, rubbing every other team's nose in it with his comments. The sooner this team gets burned the better.

Have some respect assho**. Can't believe youre a senior member here. Grow up and show some maturity.
Oh, I'm pretty mature. Been there, seen that, and been there again, and also done that again et al. Respect is earned my young friend. Open your young eyes and you might learn something here in the clinic...or you might just be another Sky day dream believer...google it kid.
All I'm saying is that the riders deserve respect because they put on a show for my, yours and everybody's entertainment.
My understanding is that they get extremely well paid. The top guys like froome particularly. Doesn't he live in like a mansion in Monaco? How many people can afford that.

And I don't see why fans have to show froome respect if he shows 0 in return. Have you seen his comments about how nobody trained before sky came along, or that his wife invented nutrition, or that he would like to beat up dopers despite being bffs with jullich and close friends with several others.

He thinks fans are brain dead idiots who can't think for themselves, have no memory and can't use the internet to check up his lies. He shows 0 respect. Why should give some in return?

this is something that showed skill

He showed poor descent skills all the way down but he made up the time he lost in the turns with power.
My thoughts exactly. His actual descending skill wasn't above average at all. He just pedaled really hard, and in that very uncomfortable pose. He also made the gap when there wasn't a corner in sight.

I don't see why - froome made the race entertaining, is suddenly made a big deal out of, in this thread. Froomes win on psm last year was extremely entertaining, some of the greatest comedy in sports history. Lance also had some great entertaining performances. That doesn't suddenly forgive the person that he was.

All people really say here is that he is a liar and a fraud. And there's no disputing that, seeing as how the only comeback his few deluded defenders have are hit and run troll jobs such as the above "victory!!!! Suck it up losers" etc

Please don't interpret my post as approval of rabbit boy's behaviour.

I'm not sure any of the other top riders are that different in that respect. Certainly Nibali isn't. And as for Contador and his steak story....

I find it hard to invest emotionally in any of them to be honest, or any of the teams.

Forgot it is Froome is definitely doping or riding a motor focus month. From when the peloton (Valverde) actually started chasing how much time did Froome gain? They didn't chase straight away as Quintana was sitting at the front waiting for Valverde

And others don't? You're being naive if you think if its any different for any other rider. Plus say Djokovic earns a lot; maybe pushes drugs into his system like crazy. Doesn't mean you start disrespecting him; hurl abuses at him, troll and throw piss and urine at him. I'm actually surprised that you ask why we should respect him? As an Indian who worked as slaves for the British for over 4 centuries, I still respect him and everyone in the peloton because I love bike racing. Period.
Anyway, I'd not written this for you. You're Froome obsessed (in a way) and that's an admirable quality as well.

Whatever piss Froome gets thrown at him this Tour, he deserves it after yesterday's roid rage attack on an innocent fan.
Froome owes it to Uncle Brian that he's not ejected from the Tour.

btw, I say roid rage, but aicar also has excessive aggression as a side effect.

I' haven't been near Froome let alone thrown piss and urine (what's the difference btw) at him, let alone "hurled abuse" at him.

That's a pretty pathetic accusation and I think you should apologize for it.

Yeah, doping & a motor bike had ZERO to do with him winning and doing what he's doing either? He won solely on sheer will & amongst a dirty peloton. Too funny.
What are you talking about? This is one of the worst straw man arguments I've ever seen; truly horrific comprehension and reasoning. Where has doping been mentioned, let along denied in realtion to his peformance today? It seems very probably that he is doping - I don't think anyone posting in this thread would seriously dispute that.

But using a motor for that downhill attack just makes no sense on any level. It's the kind of ridiculous assertion that damages the credibility of the Clinic and detracts from the much more worthy arguments and allegations.
Sarcasm....
Really?

The point is that you're sarcasm is directed largely at an issue that no-one is disupting. You ae conflating doping with using a motor, when they are clearly two separate issues. As I said, truly horrific comprehension.

Maybe so...But I'm still surprised there are gullible folks here who actually believe Froomey or anyone else is "cleans", and whether he's using a motor bike or not, its still a form of cheating and that's the same as him taking PEDs, nor would I be at all surprised if he is using a motor bike.

My once a year pilgrimage to this forum (Sky fanboy you see) and it's still the same old people hammering away at their keyboards with the same old nonsense. I can never entirely work out if it's demented or desperately sad.

Either way it doesn't change the fact that another 12 months has rolled by without a shred of evidence against Froome or Sky.

See you July 2017 guys. This thread adds to the overall joy of the TdF for me.

All those years and you still don't even comprehend what evidence is. I'm a believer in the educational value of this forum, but some cases are probably hopeless.

innocent fans today too eh?
the guy who stepped on the road got hit by Bennett who barely held it without crashing. and the Green Man almost crashing both Majka and Costa.

also, from Alpe 2011, the guy dressed as a doctor who got a punch in the face from Alberto. I dont remember such outrage that day
;)

Don't think that is likely to change with Uncle Brian in charge, Dave Gainsford as chief spin doctor, Liz Millar in charge of PR and Rupert controlling the newspaper and media outlets.

Of course, because Murdoch controls every single newspaper in the world.

Froome looks rather weak lately, what's going on? Mollema, Yates, Bardet, Martin all keeping up and even attacking.

Him attacking on a descent may have been a sign that he isn't confident in his ability to attack on the climbs, but I'm not convinced of that just yet. He should take more time in the TT, so that may give him all the buffer he needs. In that case, all he has to do is mark attacks and he's staying in yellow.

Because he needs the rest day to refill. All of his Tour winning attacks come post rest day. Ax3 and PSM were post rest day. This year we've had the Pyrenees just prior to rest day 1.

Whatever fits in with your preconceived conspiracy theory of how it all works

The truth is simpler: highly trained doper in yellow holds off repeated attacks from other highly trained dopers. Highly trained doper in yellow doesn't have it in his legs to launch an attack that would stick. Some other riders hadn't trained enough and taken enough dope and so fell off the back. Another longtime highly trained doper gets off bike because poorly.

he rode effortless.
i thought froome's competitors were giving 100% today, froome maybe 90/95.

and what kwikki calls a conspiracy is more like a painful reality: Fran closely watches what happens on twitter and to a lesser extent in the Clinic. In fact I think she's on it 24/7.
Look how she trolled Digger et al. the other day photoshopping a pic of Team Sky lifting a car.
That's Fran taking the piss, or trying to.
