well they could talk about something. Harmon, Backstead etc managed to ramble on for 8 hours of the quebec gp with nothing happening. Run us through the riders, the teams, the countries involved, explain to viewers why some countries have more riders than others etc. There are a thousand things they could talk about.

Hasanovic (Serbia) is chasing the 5 leaders, Brammeier (Ireland), Kvachuk (Ukraine), a dude from Venezula + 2 others.

I don't get it, Why are these blokes riding the bikes allowed to pull up and p**s on the side of the road. When I do that during a night out on the drink, the police pull me up. why are they so special.

Do these initial miles serve any purpose? I know there's always the chance of some riders making a break stick, but when that chance is so small, what effect can 2 hours of dawdling along really have on a race?
