uhm, how much time do they use on 1 lap? can the break catch the peloton by 1lap??

Boardman and hugh porter are saying they probably need 22 minutes to get a lap ahead which might be possible

Sporza proposed that all riders that get lapped on the circuit should be taken out of the race, koerse-style :D

I'm surprised there's quite a few riders taking pee breaks already. Is this normal?

Yes, they start drinking right away and probably before the start as well and with the sign ins and waiting at the startline etc there can be quite a bit of time since they could take a **** so this is quite common in a lot of races unless there is a very fast start with lots of people wanting to go into breaks.

This could be interesting, there is still another an hour before they reach Geelong, I don't think they will lap the peloton, though the evil side in me does wish that they do lap the peloton so that we can see the carnage that it will cause.

And another sad night for Guttercat, unable to access any coverage. Why Versus Channel can cover the Isle of Mann TT today and not the World's, I don't know.

Somebody give a shout out to Farrar for me. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him excel on this course.

22 mins, roughly one lap. Would be superb if the first groups completes the first lap at the exact moment that the bunch swings onto the circuit. Slip into into the masses, ninja-style. Just follow the group, pretend to be chasing too. Let everyone wonder who was in that breakaway and who wasn't. Get your the team mates to address you by the wrong names, sowing more confusion. All without race radios , which would simply beam in the correct bibs and spoil the party before it started. Lovin' it already!

Ah well, I can dream...
